Kyoto Sushi & Hibachi

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I am not one to write a review but this is just so bad I had to. My wife and I ordered sushi and 2 entrées. The fried rice was just white rice with some soy sauce sprinkled in nothing fried about it. The spicy tuna roll had zero flavor, it looked and tasted like cardboad. The sushi rolls all around were basically not edible. I ordered the general tso chicken the only thing good about it was the chicken was tender and juicy. As for flavor there was none. My wife had the Thi basil which was again flavorless.
If I hadn't gotten it delivered I would of returned everything that came out to sender.

This is not a hibachi restaurant. They don’t cook the food in front of you. The steak was very tuff and the rice was undercooked, dry with no flavor. I do not recommend this place.

Normally don’t leave bad reviews as I prefer to just never return but I ordered Pad Thai takeout that was a watery tasteless mess that went in the garbage after a few bytes. Even the beef was watery!
I’ve eaten pad Thai many times west of the Ashley and it was very good. Angry too as I was hungry and had been working. Lol
And I have eaten here a few time inside and It was good. You just never know what you gonna get any time you eat out.

Everything is amazing the sushi is so good, always clean, and service is great. Foot always comes out fast even when busy. Have a big crowd they accommodate you! My Favorite place without having to go to Charleston or Summerville.

We had hibachi steak and shrimp. It was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor was traditional for this kind of restaurant

My boyfriend and I get the Hibachi chicken and absolutely LOVEEE it. SOOO good!!!! We drove 40 minutes to try it again and it was amazing the second time.

My favorite restaurant in moncks corner! My husband and I eat here almost weekly. The service is always on point (seriously, everyone is so nice!), their tartar is one of my favorites, and the sushi boat is so cute and fun!

Favorite place in Moncks Corner. The hibachi is wonderful, and the spicy Tonkotsu ramen is delicious. I love the atmosphere; it's so quiet and peaceful, and the service is great.

I've been a big sushi guy for many years. Had it at some of the best places across the US. This place is my absolute favorite in the area. When I'm in Summerville, I go here. Best service, sushi, and for a good price. Love Kyoto!

The service is always on point and the staff are friendly. There's hardly any wait time and the atmosphere is great! This is the best Japanese food in the Lowcountry and it's always consistent. I don't have any photos because we always eat everything before we remember. We love this place.
