Wow, easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. From the start, the wait staff acted like it was an inconvenience that we were there. The service, if you could even call it that, proceeded to get worse. Food took forever to get. I can understand if a restaurant is short staffed but at least have the decency to explain why it’s taking longer than expected. The waitress never came back to the table after delivering the food. She has no idea how to work in food service. But she’s perfect for this underwhelming excuse of a restaurant. Not to mention the food is beyond overpriced. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Food and service were excellent! Nice little family diner. I had fried green tomatoes, shrimp, and turnip greens, hubby had baked spaghetti. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!!I wish I had tried the Apple Blossom ala mode, but I will have to come back for that!

Visited on a Sunday, meat and three only, no menu orders. Or four vegetables. Lots of selections, the food was okay and the service were great. Okra, greens, macaroni and cheese, and corn bread were the highlights, pork tenderloin was ok, meatloaf was edible, but not the best. Plenty of seating with no waiting and very little wait for food service. Convenient location less than two miles from I26.

We were lucky we could find this place it's tucked in on the side of the road. So glad I looked this restaurant up before we got here and decided to come here because of reviews. BLT was awesome, french fries are super tasty, and the pimento Burger piping hot, fresh, and very tasty. Stop here you won't be unhappy

Small Family owned restaurant. Family atmosphere. Good menu selections. Enjoyed our meal with friends! Smothered chicken was delicious. Others ordered salmon, ribeye, hamburger steak. All good!!

We stopped here on our way back to Knoxville from Hilton Head. The people here were so sweet! My husband and I both had burgers and they were fantastic. Huge portions! Fresh, not frozen fries and burger patties. Highly recommend!

This was a refreshing experience when there are so many chain restaurants these days. The food and service were top notch. We will definitely be making them one of our go to restaurants when we are in the area.
We have eaten there several times over the past two years with good service but today Sunday July 17th we went in the waitress cleaned the table and got our drink order brought our drinks and told us she would be back to get our order in a minute as soon as the kitchen slowed down two more tables were seated after about 10 after we were seated then after 20 minutes later she can and refilled my tea the other two tables that came in 10 minutes after we were seated had already had their orders taken and I asked her if someone was going to get order or did we need to go somewhere else she finally took our order the two tables that came in after us got there food a man came out of the kitchen and told me as soon as the potatoes were ready we would be served at this Tim we had been at the table for 45 minutes then at about 55 minutes in I went to window and told them to give me something else then at one hour at the table I told them never mind and left my wife called back and asked what was going on the lady said we knew they were busy and we were impatient and blamed me I will never recommend them againThank youGlenn N

First time here. It was very pleasant and the food was great! We had pub pickles and hamburger steak. The steak was very tender and tasted great! The service was excellent! Will definitely return!

We ordered 3 patty melts w/ fries and 2 kid cheeseburger meals. $70. This was definitely not worth the money. The fries taste burnt slightly, soggy. The melts were wrapped twice which locked in moister and made the bread soggy by the time I got it home. The Pattie’s had no taste. Really the only thing I ate off my plate was the patty and bacon. There wasn’t any mayo or anything on the melts except for soggy onions. It just wasn’t a good experience at all. Hopefully when we go back and try something different it’ll be better.

Nice homey place to get a good meal. Menu on the white board, nothing fancy. We had to pick THREE sides on Sunday lunch, so be prepared. And save room for an Apple Blossom a la mode if it's on the dessert list. Wonderful dinner topper!

I heard good things about this place and it did not disappoint. I got 2 specials that included meat and three. So I tasted both meats and 5 of their sides (my husband and I shared each other's meals) and the cornbread. Everything was delicious. It tasted freshly made, not canned food. The pineapple upside down cake is superb! If you like down home southern food, I definitely recommend. We'll be going back.Update: They stop the meat and 3 at 4pm on Friday.
