First time here. Just left Charlene's and The food smelled sooo good that we had to pull over in a QT parking lot and try it. The food was absolutely wonderful. Each item was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely make the drive from Anderson to eat here again!

Last week, I visited your establishment and, unfortunately, was not entirely satisfied with the meal. I spent $125.00 on food that I felt was overpriced and lacked flavor, leaving me disappointed. I would like to suggest that you consider reducing your prices. I ordered the chitterlings plate, which is the most expensive item on the menu, but it lacked flavor and the potato salad was bland. While I regret my choice, I do not believe I will be returning. Although I typically support Black-owned businesses, I am unable to continue supporting this one.

Mrs. Charlene has the best soul food that i have had in years and her desserts are awesome too. if you have not eaten there you missing some home-cooked southern food. Top notch service as well.
