Mrs. Charlene has the best soul food that i have had in years and her desserts are awesome too. if you have not eaten there you missing some home-cooked southern food. Top notch service as well.
Great food! me and my wife came down for Juneteenth 2022 and we was looking for good food and somebody told us about Charlene's and we've been going back ever since from Charlotte North Carolina food is awesome
This was our first time here. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The food was amazing. We had the fried chicken dinner and the pork chops. The portions were plentiful. The owner, Charlene took our order and brought us our food. She even gave us a sample of fried ribs because we had never tried them before. Everyone was very friendly. We will definitely stop back here if in this area again. If you want true southern food, then stop in and try this place.
