My first time here despite living in Charleston all of my life and Bricco Bracco was delicious and charming, will definitely be back again soon. Huge thanks to our server Lorraine!

First time customers and we couldn't have been more pleased! Angela our server was wonderful and the food was fantastic. I grew up with homemade Italian food and this was as close to that as I have found in Charleston. We will be regulars.

Usually very impressed with this restaurant, specifically the take out as a great Sunday option. I don’t know if they ran out or if they switched up their menu, but both dishes tonight were half portions, and the vodka rigatoni was missing all the vodka sauce. Be careful ordering pick up from here.

My husband and I used to dine here every Friday when we lived in Mt. Pleasant. The food is on the pricier side, but always worth it, and the staff was consistently warm and wonderful. I loved the parmigiana, and my husband adored the Giambotta. We were told the story by a few of the servers about how the Giambotta was a family recipe passed down from their grandma.
A few months ago, the Giambotta changed, and even though we asked for the original version next time we went, the new recipe was served instead. Since it was my husband’s favorite dish, the price felt harder to justify when it wasn’t as good as it used to be, so we came by less often after that.
If the original Giambotta ever returns, please let us know, we'd gladly make the trip back. The food really is that good!

The food was good, don't get me wrong, but the star of the show was or server Joe Mead. What a character! He made our group of 8 feel like we were having family dinner (without that annoying drunk uncle) and we had a blast with the entire experience. Way to go Joe!!!

Not good. The best thing we had was an appetizer of fried zucchini, which was a special and not on the regular menu. We also ordered the calamari. It tasted like fish. I've never had calamari taste like fish before. We sent it back. We all ordered pasta and it was all over-cooked. I compare it to the packets of instant chicken noodle soup: mushy. It was in a lemon, butter, white wine sauce that made everything, including the shrimp, taste like lemon. Honestly, I've made better scampi/lemon butter and I'm not a professional. Our waitress was off-point, but everyone has an off night and she didn't cook our food. There was nothing she could have done to help that. Also, between the open kitchen and concrete floor, it was very noisy with only a few people inside. This was one of the worst Italian restaurants I've been to in a long time. I'd rather go to the Olive Garden, and I hate Olive Garden. Stay home and cook something better. Trust me, you can cook better than they can. Two stars for the fried zucchini.
Without hesitation, this is the only restaurant I would refer people to in the Mount Pleasant area who are looking for aithentic Italian food that is consistently good quality at a reasonable price point.
Every time I've been here, I've had a great meal. But equally important to me, is that this place has such a great atmosphere and the service is outstanding, I find myself thinking about and planning my next visit as soon as I leave.
It's obvious that the servers here love their job and employer - it's something you can't enforce in your work crew and is passed on without effort to the customers. I've noticed many of the same familiar servers here now as long as I've been visiting and I think that says a lot. Rarely have I been to a restaurant that makes such an effort to be as welcoming to their guests as this one. You feel like there's nothing they wouldn't do to accommodate you and make you feel at home.
I don't eat out much anymore as I have a son with special needs and he can be difficult to manage in public. So, on those rare occasions when I do venture out, I wouldn't consider going anywhere that wasn't exceptional. Bricco Bracco is at the top of my list.
