Outstanding food, service and ambiance! The filets were perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. The salad was filled with a variety of tasty treats. The drinks were flavorful and creative. Sides of mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and creamed spinach were perfect. Desserts of crème brûlée, s'mores ice cream and bread pudding were just delicious! The evening was orchestrated by a very experienced and delightful server. The room was delightfully decorated and felt cozy...
Hostesses need training. Perhaps buy them Smiles. Getting eyeballed was not nice. Where was the manager exactly ??? Daniel our waiter was EXCELLENT. As far as dry aged???....... MEH... I eaten over 1000 dry aged steaks, this was mediocre at best. The flavor never popped, just very mild. Mac & cheese was great. Oh yeah !! Apparently you can reserve a specific table, and never show up 2 hours later. At least that's what we experienced.
We had not been to 21 Main in quite awhile and were disappointed that our party of 9 was in the large main dining area rather than the more quiet private space we had enjoyed previously. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. 21 Main is a very pretty restaurant. We appreciated the large round table to accommodate our group.
