I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this resort. The room had multiple issues that should never happen at a property claiming to be “resort” quality. There was barely any water pressure in the shower, and the water was only lukewarm at best. The TV in the bedroom wouldn’t work at all, and the phone in the room was completely dead, meaning I had to walk all the way down to the office every time I needed to report a problem.

We were sitting in the lobby with my 6 month old, and one of the managers stopped to talk with us. Later that day, we found a balloon with a personalized note. She even remembered her name. So thoughtful, above and beyond!
This place is really incredible! We spent 5 amazing days at Avista for a family vacation in July.
Some highlights:
**Location - North Myrtle Beach has a laid back family vibe. This resort is right on the beach and within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops.
