This place was surprisingly amazing!!For all the barbecue places that are around this area, most are Carolinas style and very vinegary. This. Was. Not.Absolutely incredible brisket, rivaling stuff you can get in Kansas City.Fast, fast service. Yes, it's BBQ and it's been cooked and sitting there the whole time. But this was still super quick.You want food BBQ? This is it!

Friendly, family oriented Barbeque place. Plenty of booth seating inside. Outdoor seating as well. The wait staff was quick and helpful. We were there at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. The pork barbecue was the best. BBQ beans, potato salad, and hush puppies sides were good. The brisket was fatty. Large hunks of fat, not as much meat on some of the slices. Suggest you ask when ordering for leaner cuts if this is a concern.

I have been looking for real BBQ since I came North Carolina. Bar-B-Que House is the only place I have found. They know what they are doing. The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is really cozy, and the prices are excellent. Totally worth driving to Oak Island to get this. The ribs are like candy. 10/10 it holds up to Memphis without question.Parking: Plenty of parking in lot or on the street.
