Be careful before you make reservations and or going.. made reservations a week before for 5:30 on Wednesday .. showed up at arrival time.. doors unlocked.. no one there.. no patrons.. absolutely empty! Felt very wrong! We left! Called twice during the night .. went to voicemail! Avoid this place!!!

Just happened in here, great steak, top notch staff and we loved the live music Saturday evening 4/8!

All three of us had a really good meal, great service and great music. If you like jazz, Jazz Wednesday here is the place for you. Really good band. I’m hoping to see a good rotation of jazz bands here in the coming weeks. Great room and great atmosphere for listening.

Trying an “old place”, now new owners that we had not been for yrs. Baron’s. We shall see. So far not to good with service, didn’t know music would be blaring while trying to eat. Worst restaurant experience we have ever had!!! Service sucked. Had to ask for water 3 times, then brought us bottled water!!! Food prices are outrageous!! Bill came & they charged us $6 for two bottles of water- are you kidding me!!! Water is FREE in every other restaurant in America!! We left no tip because the service was horrible, prices- wow. Then their excuse was “we have free entertainment tonight”, really - so does every restaurant in Myrtle Beach. We had an order of wings, 2 shrimp dinners (including a baked potato), 4 bottles of beer & one vodka & soda = 110 because there was an entertainment tax, hospitality tax etc. God help them!

Used to go years ago and was good. Apparently place was sold. Night we went horrible singer. About 4 tables seated and at least two appeared to be with the band. Looked as if bartender and server also working kitchen. No water. Unless you want to buy a bottle. This at a supposedly higher end steak restaurant? Drinks are pricey but not unusual for high end restaurants. Unfortunately this place is not high end. Food was absolutely horrible. Steak was thin. Raw in middle, burnt around edges. Better steaks at Outback. Some great restaurants in Myrtle. This is not one of them.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Saturday evening. The good things are the atmosphere and they had live music which we always enjoy. They were not crowded and we didn’t need a reservation since it was March. They have a beautiful bar so we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the band while waiting for our dinner. My husband ordered a steak. I ordered scallops. Both were good but nothing special. We wanted glasses of water with our meals and were told we had to buy bottles of water. At 2.50 each. Odd… you can’t get a free glass of water with dinner. Then when we were ready to pay we were told we would be charged extra because we were paying with a credit card. I have never had this at any restaurant in Myrtle Beach and we have tried many restaurants. After dinner we walked a few buildings over to a different restaurant/ bar to hear a band there. We noticed that they were serving the exact steak dinner my husband had just gotten for half the price. We should’ve just gone there. But like I said barons is a bit more upscale for a nice dinner experience but plan on those extra charges. We won’t go back. Plenty of other options in Myrtle Beach.

We went on a Thursday night for dinner, and were seated at a table for two, between two doors labeled, "Employees only" Not the best location, and as dinner progressed, I realized there were many empty better tables that we could have been seated at, but we were not. Drinks were acceptable, but small. I am not used to being served a martini, where the glass is less than half full. A shared appetizer we ordered was served, and the bacon-wrapped scallops were good but at 17.00 for 3, very disappointing. My lady's main course was salmon, which was good. I ordered a ribeye steak, that was loaded with grizzle, and had excess fat - not good. When we asked for water, the server said he had bottled water available, and brought two bottles. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that did not serve water at dinner, but this was nothing but an opportunity to charge for it. Deplorable practice, as was a fee charged to process my debit card. Please folks, don't support such a poor business. Even moderate prices (and theirs are not!) never make up for poor quality, and poor owner practice. STAY AWAY! There are many fine restaurants to go to on the Strand, and this, I assure you, is not one of them.

We went for dinner and to listen to live music on a Friday night. The same at many restaurants, they were short staffed, so service was a bit sketchy but they really did try their best. I felt the prices were too high. My burger platter was $18. While it was tasty I think $18 was a bit much for a burger. On the other hand, drinks are a heavy pour and happy hour prices are very good.

The place was so alive! Music, dancing, drinking and eating! A fun time in a very nice environment and at a reasonable cost!!!! Amazing

Starts with having the bar making weak drinks. Then having no prime rib at 5pm on Saturday night. So, got a full rack of ribs that were around 6 to 8 inches long. 4 asparagus stalks given as a side, that is only 4 fork fulls when cut. Showed this to the manager and he said he would get back to us but never did. Sorry to see it go this far down hill from my last visit. Will never be back.

I'm a local that will never go back. We were sat at a table and brought water. That was the last we saw the waitress for about 15 or 20 minutes. I thought it was because the person that sat us was not the waitress and that there was only 1 waitress working. Nope not the case, the water person was indeed our waitress. She took our drink order and food order at the same time. She couldn't answer simple questions about the menu like what came with certain items. After ordering, the wait time for our food was at least 45 minutes. I could accept this if the place was busy. We were told the kitchen was backed up. The problem with that answer is we were the only table that was waiting for food. All the other tables were finished eating and paying or sitting an talking. The waitress messed up the check and charged for sides that came with the meal. I don't mind a mix up here or there but not one word or apology about the wait or check. Save yourself some aggravation and find another place to eat there are too many in the area to put up with this.

Quiet little place ... Hidden gem in the Kroger parking lot! We went on June 9th Not many people inside and a few outdoors eating. Candle on the table and Piano guy playing great tunes! We danced to 2 songs for our 4 year anniversary together! Food was great.

Service was on point, food was delicious. Tucked back in a shopping center, but so glad we found this place.

We stumbled upon this local eatery when shopping at Kroger- it's down the walkway. My husband was wanting to please me with a Piano Bar atmosphere- he knows my weakness! He made reservations, but we didn't really need them. The reviews talk of the food not being exceptional. They are correct- it's average, from our experience. Turns out the Piano Bar is a lively husband/wife on two pianos performing a variety of tunes. After an hour of play, they separately took breaks so there was no break in the entertainment. Outstanding! It was obviously a locals hangout which is a good sign. My husband ordered the She-Crab soup as it's one of his favorites. The bowl was very generous in crab meat but lacked in flavor. His ribs were too dry for his preference, but maybe that's a regional preparation? I had the chicken sandwich without the bread and ordered a baked potato to go with. Both our potatoes were undercooked. If your name says "Steaks" how can you not do a baked potato? The restaurant side has linen tablecloths and the bar side is well, a bar. The music can been heard from everywhere as it is a small place. They are not a "fine dining" place and they are not just a bar with food. The same menu is available from every table. The owner should decide which identity sells best. In summary, go for the music and a good time, and you will not be disappointed!
