As native Texans that travel full-time and consider BBQ to be a very serious cuisine, we stopped at this establishment with great hope. We were pleasantly surprised that the BBQ was really good! The smoky taste was infused perfectly in the brisket and ribs. They use a dry rub, which we prefer. The meat was tender and moist. The hushpuppies were crunchy and delicious. Loved this place. Great selection of craft beers and amazing food. From the warm welcome from Shane, to the expert tips from our waitress Courtney, we totally enjoyed ourselves. Would have liked to have stayed and listened to the entertainment, but after a long drive and tired asses, we had to head to the hotel. The waitress was extremely nice, we loved her. The food was OK, the macaroni and cheese that they claim is so famous is actually extremely dry and my boyfriend didn’t even finish his food, and he’s literally like a garbage disposal so that’s saying a lot.
