Love the place. Good food friendly staff. My only complaint is the volume of the music. Early evening it was impossible to hold a conversation because of the volume.

Situated on the intercoastal! You can't get better atmosphere than that. We visited a Tuesday afternoon for lunch so no wait time. Seated outside right along the water where we could take in the view of passing sail boats as the sunshine drenched us. Server was extremely attentive without being a nuisance. She confirmed a menu item as I eat GF. My shrimp taco was delicious even without the shell. My friend enjoyed a fish taco and side of grilled veggies... Also, delicious. Nice size servings. Two bars with food service seating between and outside. Music every evening. I can't wait to return and enjoy an evening with my honey. The place reeked of Boomers, hot rods, and Harley's.

The wait staff was so friendly! It was my son and I and our dog, they were great to her and treated her like a customer also and not just something to put up with. We had seafood last night somewhere in Myrtle Beach that I won’t mention. Every aspect at Captain Archie’s was substantially better, the wait staff/service, the food quality and portion. 2 thumbs up only because I’m out of thumbs…👍🏻👍🏻

We didn't plan eating this night and just attended the New Years Eve Celebration. It was PACKED! We were still able to get drinks at the bar farthest from the band. The staff is awesome! We can't wait to go back for some food one day.

Had seafood platter with some of the best Fried Shrimp and Flounder. Great atmosphere near the water. You will see some cool cars and motorcycles.

By water, outside seating..then inside: 3 inside bars. Plenty of room..lots of seating for groups..always fun atmosphere..great friendly bartenders..lots of bands. We usually do wonder-full happy hour..

Archie's is an iconic place for me. Been going there for decades back when it was called Poo's. Great location, good food and friendly staff. Give it a shot.
