Lo Mien and Chicken Fried Rice were fantastic. The authentic entrees were a little too exotic for my tastes, but I didnt want to play it safe. Food is made to order, so it comes out slow. Worth the wait if you have time.
Is this place even still open. People are leaving reviews but this place has been closed for a while now, at least 3-4 months. Not sure what happened here. Would love to know though. Used to be great food and service. The last time I went was about 4 months ago and Ed was cooking and some patrons told me they waited two hours for their food and recommended I leave. Anyone have any answers?
I have been going to this place for 13 years great food and the owner is an awesome chef but when I went in recently it was dark and appeared to be on a path of being run down. The owner was sitting at the bar he didn't look well. I ordered 2 items and was told they are no longer available so I finally found something they had. It was awesome! It saddens me to see there is something happening with the owner and the place. The place used to be packed, they would have wine nights and now it appears dark and lonely. I hope it gets turned around and back to how awesome it used to be.
Food is awesome, but calling in an order to this place is next to impossible! Also, the hours on google seem to not be accurate because the past few times I’ve tried to go for lunch in the past few weeks they have been closed (around 11am or 12pm). Real shame, because they have some of the best Asian food on the beach!
Last Saturday went to eat Eddie was drunk nasty rude yelling telling people to leave 4 tables left using the f word grandson was very upset his favorite restaurant will not be back
Wow was the owner/manager of this place rude tonight. Instead of saying "it's going to be a little while because we are low on staff" he sits us down and tells us not to rush him angrily. He also told us that McDonald's is across the street if we didn't feel like waiting. There was only three families in the whole place and it took us about an hour to get our food. Near the end of our meal, tons of people started coming in and he said they might as well leave because he probably won't get to them. He was so rude to these people coming in that everyone in the restaurant left in the middle of their meals and he even confronted one person who left saying" you better be coming back!" As more people left, he said" good leave! I don't want your business anyways. Have fun at McDonald's" He then proceeds to lock the door with us inside so no one else can come in. I'm pretty sure this guy was drunk. Extremely unprofessional. Go somewhere else
The food is great but lately the service is terribly lacking it's very disappointing. Waited on our appetizer for about an hour and my meal came out first and my friends meal never came out we gave up... it's really a shame because the guy is a great cook.
The best restaurant in North Myrtle. It is a must. Order the coconut soup and the Fish Tempura
According to their hours of operation they close at 9p. I walked in the door around 7:30p 1/3/20. There were several tables with customers eating. I'll mention the sticky bar area, but I was hungry so I stayed. The chef/owner was actively cooking. The waitress/hostess was serving food. I walked up to the bar area, she only lightly ignored me. I asked for a menu, she pointed me to them, printed takeout type menus. I stood at the bar deciding what to order. When I said I was ready she looked at me and said they were closed. I asked her to repeat because I was certain I heard wrong. She again said they were closed. She was so cold and completely indignant. So very clear that they didn't want my business. I said well that was something you could have said when I walked in the door. I don't want to make assumptions as to why this establishment decided to be closed when I walked in but I know I'll never go back there to get treated that way. Edited to say....seeing so many other bad reviews for service in the place actually makes me feel better. Don't give this place your hard earned money. I'm glad I was denied the chance to do so.
If I could give this place no stars I would. The owner is rude and a complete alcoholic. After waiting for 45 minutes for our food the owner comes out and said that he didn’t have any of the items we ordered. This place used to be one of our favorite restaurants and now it’s gone completely down hill.
Restaurantji Recommends
Service was horrible. Waited over an hour to get our food. Eddie was the only one in the kitchen working. I do not recommend anyone coming here to eat.
They can not answer a phone... Hopefully your willing to eat there and not get take out... Called for three days and never got and answer... What a waist
