Platt's has the best live bait in our area, we use their live shrimp and mud minnows on our fishing charters with great success! They also offer an excellent variety of fresh seafood that they can cook for you to take home. We like their steamed crab legs the best!
We had fried catfish and oyster baskets. Both were very fresh and the oysters were cooked perfectly. We didn't take any fresh fish home, but the selection was extensive and included the local fish that don't show up in restaurants. We'll go again next time we're in the area.
Amazing little fish market. A local staple and household name. Everything is fresh and the service is top tier. We even buy bait here when we head out. Just an amazing little family owned shop and definitely the freshest fish on the strand
