Update to my review as of 1/13/2024.Since my original review I have been here many times. First it was because their cheese steaks which it seems many people feel the same way.At some point I tried their pizza.. Now that's my new found! Something about their Pizza reminds me of home something I ate when I was younger growing up maybe a bar pie from this place me and my mom used to frequent. But it is awesome. I love their little slices. Just greasy enough to remind you it's good pizza. Usually has a good crust on the bottom. Is there pizza is definitely in my top three possibly number 1 right now in the area.!Old reviewI am rating this 4 stars based upon the cheese steak being 5 stars that I went there solely to get todaynie. And the other aspects of the place being 3 stars or less.I have never eaten at this restaurant before. I've actually never noticed it before (I will get to that in a minute). My cousin brought home a cheese steak from there yesterday, I tried a bite and immediately I was surprised how good it was. Different than others, very soft and creamy texture. I definitely wanted to get my own sandwich. So, I rode out there today, and even though it's right on RT 17 south, in a very busy area, it was difficult to pinpoint (even with google maps as my navigator) where exactly it was..Its in a small strip building in front of a much larger strip mall. It's in the front corner unit, somewhat rundown looking/needs some serious updating. There's pretty much no way to tell that it's famous Andy's from the front or side. I couldn't notice any signage whatsoever. The Only one is on the top of the rundown street sign for that shopping center.Cheese Steak was great?12" hoagie roll cooked and chopped Onions, maybe mushrooms, I asked for no green peppers on my, cheese of course, and they add mayo in it which gives it a creamy texture. I have not tried any other menu items. Cheese steak is a must try!

This place is a gem ? We literally didn't have one thing from here that wasn't amazing! The garlic Parmesan wings were so great that we ended up ordering more. The pizza, both Philly and Chicken Philly were great. Everyone was super nice, helpful and friendly, we felt like family. Literally found a spot that we will be frequenting when we come in town.

Famous Andy's was great! One of the better Pizza Joints in Myrtle Beach right up there with King's Pizza and definitely better than Hungry Howie's!Slices on the thinner side kind of a New York style. It's worth a try if you're looking for something new.

Philly Cheesesteak heaven right here! Made by Philadelphia transplants who know how it's done. Yes the bread has to be Amoroso's rolls and they don't disappoint! Steak is seasoned, cooked and chopped perfectly. It was great talking about the Philadelphia area and childhood memories of Connie Mack Stadium, the shore and the food! We will be back!!

Been going to North Myrtle for last five years and had never tried Famous Andy's, but had heard it was very good. So I tried it when we were there in Sept and had the BEST steak sub that I have ever eaten. Wings were amazing too.I can assure that every time I am in North Myrtle I will be at Famous Andy's more than once....Workers were awesome. They even called when my food was ready. All in all an awesome place !!!!

One philly and a Pepsi was $22 and change. (Delivered) but either way.. the sub made me sick. Like sick sick. I've had better experiences with them before but thr price spike and food poisoning was def my last straw.

Terrible pizza. Honestly, ranks as one of the worst ever. Crust is terrible (probably pre packaged low end frozen shells) and the sauce is sour and bitter. It reminded me of the pizza that you get at Chucky Cheese for a kids party. Nothing good about it...but kids will eat it. There is no crust on the end. Plus it is sliced into smaller pieces so a large has 16 smaller pieces. I lived in Philadelphia and this is definitely not Philadelphia pizza. Not even close. In fact I would order Domino's over this pizza, and I hate Domino's. To make matters worse it took over an hour and a half to get it on a slow non peak season weekday. Seriously, pass on this place. Numerous other places to try. Or go to the grocery store and buy a frozen Red Baron pizza. It's better than this.
