Filet's Waterfront

I Have been trying to get to this place for a few months since we moved here and I’ll tell you It did not disappoint! The drinks the atmosphere and the service was phenomenal. I had a lemon drop martini and it was the best from that bar can’t wait to return Thanks for a great night ( pic of the salted caramel martini included which was also amazing !)

Everything was great except the Lobster Bisque, it was loaded with imitation fish of some kind, so much that there was not much broth.

Came in for Happy hour with a party of 6. We were asked where we wanted to sit, we told them the heated patio. Once we get out there our waitress says you can push the tables together (i thought this was the responsibility of staff) especially when the table only sits 4 and we had 6. Otherwise the service was okay, but the food was disappointing. Out of all the happy hour apps we ordered the best by far was the fried green tomatoes and stuffed mushroom. The mussels and clams had no flavor and the beef tips had even less flavor, we couldn’t even eat them. I am a local and always enjoy happy hours around town but this trip was disappointing. On the plus side the restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas and it sits right on the waterway.

Burgers were a little overdone. But the one star is for poor customer service. It was a gorgeous day today, and I asked the bartender if they were seating outside, and was told no. Yet soon after someone else was being served outside. Totally ruined the visit because of was colder inside than outside. We were penalized because I was polite and asked. Now I know to just be inconsiderate going forward, if we return at all. The outside seating is the best part of this restaurant, food and indoor atmosphere is just ok, and none of the servers/bartenders are good enough to make me remember their name.

I love Filet's, but definitely will not order the Black and Blue beef tips ever again. I could not even cut them with a sharp knife, so took them home to prepare them with a mushroom sauce over buttered noodles for my husband and me. Alas we could barely cut them with steak knives, but managed to eat them with great difficulty. I recommend that you not order them.

We had a great experience at Filet’s. Our server was Jamie and she was wonderful. We had sushi that was delicious. The water view was very nice.

I normally am not a sushi gal. However, we had some of the best sushi I have ever seen in this place! My husband had the filet mignon and needless to say, it was OUR filet mignon after he let me try a piece because of how good that was too! Most certainly recommend trying this place for size soon. Such cute colorful tables right on the water as well and such a wholesome staff. We will be back soon!

Filet's (the outside bar) seems to have gone downhill. Food was not great. Waitress was not attentive. Served us food with no forks. It took way too long to get her attention. I won't be back anytime soon.

Best lobster 🦞 bisque ever 😋. Steamed clams & peel and eat shrimp 🍤 everything was delicious 😋

Everything was slow. Service, food, drinks. Noticed they were only open from 4-8pm at the time of year and days we were there. Big disappointment when the portion sizes were extremely small.
