Georgio's is a walk in, order at the counter, fix your own drink pizza spot that does thin, foldable crust pizza just right. The sauce is tangy, not sweet, they put loads of cheese and just the right amount of toppings.
My youngest son got spaghetti with meat sauce, which came with a piece of garlic bread that was about half a hoagie roll in size. He said it was good and finished it, which says it was.
This is a great little pizza spot. One of our favorites when we're in town.

So good y’all! We got the house pizza several times while we were down here. The pizza dough is homemade, fresh & delicious.

Nasty went there today. I have not been in there in over 10 years. The pizza was awful .mold in the parm cheese jar so I didn't use it My friends had a Italian sub salami was all dried out .Mike had a meat ball it was nasty they didn't even say good afternoon, or good afternoon when we walk in the door this place used to have the best pizza around.I haven't been there in ten years and I will never go back again

never thought a cheese steak sandwich could be so bland. no texture, no flavor; like hospital food. the steak was completely broken down like ground beef. toppings were all soggy. waited 20 minutes for 2 cheese steak subs and it wasn’t even busy. staff was rude. me and my buddy chose this place carefully out of all the restaurants in this little area because it looked like the best and cheapest place to get a nice sandwich, and we were disappointed.
pluses- cheap, doesn’t taste “bad”, fries were crispy

Very long wait. Over twenty minutes with only one order ahead of ours. Food came out hot but was incredibly bland.

The pizza is absolutely delicious. It has to be some expensive mozzarella because it’s wonderful. The crust is great, too. We ordered to go, but then our kids wanted to go along and pick it up, so we ended up eating at the restaurant. It was a nice family-friendly atmosphere. We’ve been twice this trip and will definitely be back in the future.

pizza might be good, I don’t know, but the slice app they used for the online order sucked. Never got my pizza and they won’t do anything to make it right. Order from a trusted source. Don’t trust these clowns.
I have been enjoying Georgio's for many, many years and am so happy that they are still going strong. I see familiar faces working there going way back - so nice to see a family pizzeria. As for their pie - - let me say that I am something of a pizza snob. I have enjoyed and/or not enjoyed pizza all over the country. New York City and New Jersey are good - some very good spots up there. Best I ever tasted is in Pittsburgh - yes, Pittsburgh - Mineo's Pizza House. And Georgio's has the second best!
Great pie. Great old-school pizzeria atmosphere. You order, get a number, and they call it when it is ready. I would describe the crust, which is so crucial to any good pizza, as thin to medium thickness at most, with a nice crispiness to it and a slight chew. The sauce is milder, smooth, and delicious. Georgio's uses a combination of mozzarella and white cheddar that gives a perfect melt and flavor. And they make their pizzas with love. No conveyor belts. No get em in. Get em out. They look, they pull out and inspect the bottom of the crust. They wait until your pizza is done to perfection. It may take a little longer and may cost more than the "fast food pizza" places. But worth it. I personally recommend pepperoni and mushrooms - or just pepperoni. You do not want to overload a pizza this good with too many toppings and take away from the crust, sauce, and cheese. I've heard the steak and cheese subs are very good. But with pizza as good as theirs, why would I try anything else?! Thank you, Georgio's! Keep doing what you do. Will be back, as always, for another pie on my next visit whetever I am staying on the Grand Strand.

As a tourist in this town, I obviously don’t know what’s a tourist trap and what isn’t, except for this place. This is by far some of the best food in a touristy town. My husband and I got the chicken bacon ranch pizza and fried pickles. When I say the pickles were magical I’m not joking. It was the best fried pickles I’ve had in a long time! I 100% recommend going here even if you’re a tourist like us. The staff was very friendly and the food is reasonably priced which is a big plus. 10/10

Classic pizza place! Reminds me of an old school pizzeria in the north east. Arcade games at the back for kids to play. The food is amazing! Best pizza we’ve had in the Carolinas. Definitely give this place a try!
