Burger was not only overcooked, but burnt to a crisp and the bun was hard and stale. Husband's Reuben had almost no sauerkraut on it and the bread crust was so hard and tough it was inedible. Both of our fries were barely Luke warm. I rarely say or leave a negative comment,but tonight's dinner was awful.

We used to come here a lot but this time will be our last time. The bathrooms smelled so bad. You could smell the urine coming out of the men’s bathroom walking up. We went there at 12 pm.

The food was not good. The ribeyes were bland with no seasoning at all. Ranch dressing couldn't improve the taste. I told our waiter about our concerns. He said that he reported our comments to the manager who never stopped by to apologize or offer additional comments. Don't plan on eating here again!
Here at Myrtle Beach and decided to try a new place. I didnt get to try the food. I was very disappointed with the hostess and made a decision not to eat there. However the waitress was exceptional which made it hard to leave.

Third time I have been in Hickory Tavern in the last four weeks. Being locals we like quick easy places to eat, have drinks and to watch football. Walked in tonight and was met at the door with it's going to be 15-20 mintues before you can come in and sit. I asked about the 14 tables that I counted were empty but all I got "I said it was going to be 15-20 minutes". If you are going to have the tables staff your business. Hickory Tavern has such a great reputation in Western NC but the one at North Myrtle is terrible. Highly recommend you finding somewhere else where you are treated with respect and where they appreciate the money you spend!

We had dinner - granted, off season, and the server seemed to forget about us. Service was slow, but the food was delicious, just overly salty. The drink i got was SUPER heavy pour of makers mark, so I ended up giving it to my fiance.

Place had many choices and good food! Was able to seat 8 of us easily. The server was good and nice. It is loud but it's a sports tavern so makes sense. Shrimp tacos were delicious.

Wife and I dined here on Wednesday 11/13 for their wing night. Waiter wasn’t knowledgeable regarding how the wings were cooked and came out naked with sauce on the side and were not fully cooked and seemed to be cooked in advance and left to sit for the next unsuspecting victim. Ordered a side of fries that came out luke warm and soggy with the house seasoning dusted on one side of the very small portion. Even with the gift card we used, this “free” meal was not worth the money so don’t waste yours at this high class low quality sports tavern!
