Wr haven't eaten here for years, but wanted something different. My veal schnitzel was excellent. Hubs veal dish was very good as well. Service was great, server was very friendly. They pour a very generous 9 oz. glass of wine. What's not to like?

A party of four, everyone cleaned their plates. We had a variety from goulash to sausages to chicken to pork. Our sides were all delicious, especially the red cabbage and the cucumbers. Portions are generous. The entertainment was provided by an old guy and his accordion. He actually played a few songs that we knew the words to but had never heard played on an accordion before, and he played some oompah music. We always enjoy this place.

Food, Service and atmosphere are great. It was very loud the night we were there....some guests very extremely loud which kind of ruined the ability to talk to each other. Oh..and they were out of Apple Strudel.

They have a happy hour special from 4:00 to 6:00 but there's only 12 seats. When it's filled no one else can go in. So we sat down at the regular restaurant. The food was very good and they gave us a 15% discount on our total bill. We had the goulash and the chicken Jager schnitzel. So delicious! And they have the best creamy mashed potatoes. Wash that down with your favorite hefeweizer. Prost!?

Excellent food, excellent service. I had the veal Jager Schnitzel, and the gravy was delicious. You are offered a variety of sides, including spaetzl which was a happy surprise that I loved. Very good accordion music was provided. I tried a beer that was new to me on the waitresse's recommendation. Take her advice! The restaurant is nicely decorated. And the seating is spaced for good conversation. The restaurant is obviously popular, as evidenced by the number of patrons.

This was our first time there and we were not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the mushrooms and gravy appetizer to start you meal. If you haven't been there, try it.

We were drawn in with the happy hour $2 chops. The happy hour is well attended and seating in the bar was a wait. The staff was accommodating, arranged seating and was prompt with our orders. We expected that the happy hour portions of sides would be small and we anticipated small chops for $2. We were so wrong! All sides were delicious full portions and the breaded fried chops covered half our plates. What a German gem this is.

Outstanding food, ambiance, entertainment and service (we had "Number 1 Waitress" who's been there 25 years and she was awesome - great sense of humor). Authentic German food, great selection and reasonably priced for the large portions. Best sauerkraut we've had ever. And the soft German rye bread that comes out first is to die for. You can't go wrong!

We had the most amazing last night of our vacation. The staff treated us golden. Corina was outstanding and had us in stitches, food was off the charts, entertainment played "In Heaven There Is No Beer" (we are from Iowa) Definitely recommend but get reservations.
