What a GEM in N Myrtle. This place is on the main strip coming into N Myrtle. A line begins quickly for dinner, suggest going early 5:30ish. Line moves fast. Great fried seafood. Slaw is amazing, mayonnaise base with a vinegar finish, definitely homemade. Typical dinning room vibe, small room with many tables. Wait staff was awesome and efficient. We never miss the opportunity when we visit.

I don't get the hype about this place. It's crowded so service is slow, and their eggs, sausage, bacon, and grits are nothing to write home about (or a review, but here we are).
We both ordered eggs scrambled with cheese. I don't know anywhere else that could screw that up. Except this place that just threw shredded cheese on top of scrambled eggs instead of folding in the cheese.
The grits were thick and tasteless. The biscuits were flat and dry. The bacon and sausage were okay.
Kinda disappointed because breakfast is our big meal of the day, and we could have gone somewhere much better.

The fish 🐠 🌮 tacos were SO GOOD!!! The peanut 🥜 butter 🥧 pie YUM!!! I see why everyone says, it’s their favorite restaurant, it’s now, one of ours!!! 😋

We ate there tonight. I ordered the Beachcomber burger with Pimento cheese and Fried Green tomatoes. It was wonderful. Great food and excellent service. We will be back to try more options.
My wife and I lived here 4 years, and today was the 1st time dining at Hoskins. We both gad the lunch flounder special. Desert, lemon pie, and peanut butter pie. We shall return in the future.

We were going to leave when we seen the line outside but from word of mouth the food is great. Once inside and at a table we got our tea and out order was taken promptly. The sweet tea is amazing. When the food arrived there was more than I could eat. The flounder was amazing, hot fresh and cooked perfectly. The hush puppies were great. Broccli casserole great. Would recommend if you are in town to definitely take the time to stop in and try the food. I got a piece of Coconut pie to go. Don't want to forget the service was amazing. Thank you for the hospitality.
