We came here today 09/14/25 we were told they were out of several items, they couldn’t toast the bread. We watched several customers leave because of that. The phone rang and the one kid said “ ughhhhhh omg what now” . The place was absolutely disgusting. Trash everywhere , boxes everywhere . Then the girl got mad when we asked where we could sit since all the tables had boxes. The kids working there said, “well we had a truck load come in and we have over 200 sandwiches to make.” The girl with glasses was pissed that we asked to have a table cleared off so we could sit down and eat our food. We won’t be back, and we are locals!! We will take my business somewhere else. The kids that are working there complained the entire time about everything about there job. We own a cleaning business here in Myrtle beach and I would be extremely upset if I heard my employees talking the way these kids did in front of customers . I’m posting pictures of this place to show what we walked into. I’m guessing it’s the same owners as the other Jersey mikes near toastys restaurant. Because that place is trashed and we were there when the owner came in and he didn’t care at all. He was super nice, but didn’t care about how the restaurant looked. We own a cleaning business so if you need some cleaning services please reach out to us!! We are a five star company and we take are business and our cleaning standards to the highest level! We clean over 200 properties here in Myrtle beach. It kills us to see places like this because employees and owners don’t seem to care.

If sandwich-making were an Olympic sport, the staff at Jersey Mike’s James Island would sweep the gold, silver, and bronze. These heroes don’t just make subs—they craft edible love letters wrapped in paper. I use their online app at least once a week, and every time, my order is ready so fast I half-expect them to be psychic.

The staff? Friendly, helpful, lightning-quick… basically the Avengers of deli meat. If you’re not eating here, you’re doing lunch wrong.

We came in with a big party right at closing time tonight 8/14/25. We didn’t realize they were actually closing up, Ivan and his crew greeted us with a smile and even let us dine in while they closed up. The food was great and service was even better.

These workers are the most incompetent people around. Ordered multiple sandwiches and they lost one because they put it in a to go bag. Ran out of bread at 7 o clock. Workers got mad for ordering sandwiches. Worst jersey mikes around.

IVAN AND KENEYA ARE AMAZING!!! 10/10 couldn’t recommend their hospitality and customer service more! They made my large order with care, compassion and love!

They chatted with me the entire time even though I was indecisive and took way too long they didn’t rush me or make me feel bad!

I will definitely be coming back specifically for them!

They deserve a raise and promotion!

Thank you for being so kind and making my day!

Happy 4th of July!

I wasn’t able to try the food because the service was awful. I came in tonight with my family, one family member has significant cognitive impairment. She is 38 years old however, has the thinking and behavior of someone who is 8. The fans were on so loud that she couldn’t speak, then one woman from the back with braids commented under her breath (but loud enough we could hear her through the fans) that she “didn’t need to yell”. Maybe try a little harder to make the customer happy instead? Or at least for the customer to be able to communicate with the person making their food?

The woman taking our order was instructed by each person in my party about dairy and gluten in the food due to severe allergies to both, she didn’t respond or give any indication that she heard anyone, then became upset (by aggressively stating that she heard us) when I stepped in to clarify. Or maybe she did respond the first 2-3 times, but no one could actually hear. Who knows.

Either way, getting rude about it doesn’t feel appropriate. Yes, my mentally challenged family member was difficult to deal with since she couldn’t actually order over the noise, does that mean we bully someone who has disabilities? Better yet, what if that was an actual 8 year old giving an order, would you respond the same way? Probably not. Either way, I couldn’t believe this woman was getting passive aggressive with a mentally challenged customer. THEN with the person trying to support her (me).

I don’t understand where the phrase “the customer is always right” went wrong here. These women appear to have a hard time serving other people, perhaps you should get a different job. As a person who has done their fair share of direct customer service I’m impressed that they actually still have jobs there. It is hard enough for my family member to find a place to eat with her allergies, thanks for making her feel comfortable ladies.

I ended up ending the order and we went to a Jersey Mike’s about ten minutes away to find the service was wonderful. What a difference that was! Very grateful we left to find a more positive experience.

Oh! I forgot to mention: on the way out after I stated that we were going to order somewhere else and began to walk out, one of the kind women said stated quite loudly “thank you, have a good night”.

It would have been awesome if you’d have that sort of enthusiasm from the beginning. Maybe you’d have more customers and less negative reviews.

Ordered steak and cheese sub #17. They only had rosemary bread. Sub was made well with a big exception. I asked for the spicy relish to be spread on the bread. 15 min later, after getting back to my condo, you guessed it , no relish. Very disappointed.

Got all the way through my sub. 5 bites away. Was wondering why it tasted different. No bacon. Guess it was my responsibility to catch the mistake faster.

In the end at least I got some a la carte bacon to enjoy with no sub.

I was coming quite often but its too expensive to forget the bacon and ruin my lunch.

Wont be back

I’m sitting in my golf cart outside as I write this. We ordered on the App and they aren’t filling those orders. I’ve been here over an hour. I don’t give a dhit what it tastes like, I’ll never come back here. I only live a mile away.

Completely clueless employees working there.
Charged me for extra cheese that I did order but they never added on top of that it took like a half hour while they tried to figure out two other customers orders and totals!
Would never go back to that one but love JM's in general. 🙄
