This is a great italian restaurant. The best dish i have had so far is the lasagna. I have gone to this restaurant several times and i have never been disappointed.

Such a great spot for date night. Food was amazing, Jamie was a fantastic server and when I left my card they called me within 5 minutes of leaving. The smoked fish dip is the most amount of dip I’ve gotten anywhere. Get the yellow fin tuna, any special they have that night and if you’re really lucky, the chorizo soup will be the soup of the night. 15 outta 10!!!

Quickly made a reservation after we heard they are closing soon for a remodel & menu update. Dinner was phenomenal. Excellent dirty martini, fish dip app was smoky and good. We did the catch of the day special & the tuna for entrees - would recommend both. Our server Jaime was great and had insightful recommendations that we appreciated. We will be back after the change to wine & tapas. 10/10.

I asked a foodie friend about places to dine in North Myrtle Beach. He suggested Midtown Bistro. Wow! The food was phenomenal! Homemade pastas and desserts. The catch of the day was grouper. It was delicious. Think I put on 10lbs

Excellent food! Reasonably priced for the level of food served. It is casual fine dining atmosphere. Only complaint is that parking is a bit difficult due to the high amount of customers.

As soon as we sat down, DJ the waitress was a hit with her professional personality! She gave us suggestions that included just about everything on the menu. My final choice was sooo delicious that I deliberately did not eat it all to save some for the next day. Everyone knows that leftover food is better to let the seasonings marinate. DJ was awesome and I know when I return, I will ask for her to wait on us!

My wife and I have been going to Midtown Bistro for many years. It is, or was, one of our go-to place, especially when friends visit. Sadly, we have decided to no longer go there. We went there the other night with good friends who have dined there with us in the past. We started at Bar 1912 for drinks, then went next door to the Bistro for dinner. First off, the hostess was unfriendly (even our friends 16 yr old picked up on that). Then we we were seated at a makeshift table for 6 with two different color tables that was in front of the kitchen and restroom even though there were plenty of open tables in nicer areas of the restaurant. We asked to move to one of the high-tops and it appeared the hostess had to think about it for a while even thought it was not a busy night and both were empty. On a side note a family with young kids came in shorty after us and unfortunately they got the table by the kitchen and restroom even though plenty of nicer tables were open (go figure). Overall food was good including the Wahoo fish dinner. However, the steak filet my wife got looked more like 4oz vs 6oz. We did have a very nice waitress. It’s a shame to see Midtown go downhill. The ambiance used to be so cozy with soft piano music and low lighting. But the piano player and piano are gone and a lot of table are missing on one side of the restaurant. It seemed more like eating in dimly lite warehouse which is probably NOT what you want when taking friends to dinner.I’m not sure what’s going on with Midtown Bistro but my wife and I agreed we are done eating there or recommending it. And, since Bar 1912 has the same owners it’s difficult justifying giving them our money there if they can’t spend time getting Bistro up to higher standards. So we will just look for a new go-to restaurant in that area.Parking: They used to have a friendly group of parking attendants. They are gone.

Jeff Martini and his staff do a great job!!! The fresh Grouper fish bites with yellow sauce are fantastic. The tomato soup with sausage was the tastiest soup I've enjoyed in a long time. The Caesar Salad was one of best she ever had. Our steak and filet were cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes were very hot. Kudos to the kitchen!!!! My wife has never given a meal an unsolicited 10 and she would give 110% if that was the scale. Kudos to Jamie our waiter.... Very knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere is open and clean. This has been a great experience!!! We are down from Boston for the weekend and Midtown Bistro is worth the trip. RESERVATIONS A MUST!!!
