Mission BBQ has become a favorite of ours partly because of the food, it’s always good, but mostly because of the service. The NMB location has the sweetest staff. They are always walking around checking on you and so kind to chat with. I love talking to veterans and just the overall vibe is so great. They have seasonal sides and my favorite is the corn casserole or sweet potato pie. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m along time customer if mission bbq, best bbq around!! Just relocated to the Myrtle beach area and happy to see a location here. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is the fries. They are undercooked unfortunately…this has happened twice. I will definitely keep coming back, ordering different sides.

I want to give 6 stars to make up for the folks that didn't give 5 stars because they definitely are a 5 star joint. The service was exceptional as was the food. The bonus strawberry shortcake was a delicious surprise.
We were impressed enough to look up info on them and were surprised to find out that it is a chain! The first one opened on 9/11/11, the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. They recognize and honor the military and first responders. We were there before noon and at noon everyone stood for the national anthem.
So if you love barbecue and America, this is definitely the place to eat. 7 stars and 3 thumbs up.
