Love going to Murphy's when I come down from Ohio which is about every 6 weeks. Always a fun place with great entertainment.

Wait staff is not always friendly, service is slow.The guy that does the Karaoki is fun in the afternoon. Food is usually good. The inside of the restaurent is dark.The view of the beach in the afternoon is the best .
The food was okay. The fries were pretty lame. They were soggy and tasted like well fetelized soil. the waiter was very kind and bubbly, but the atmosphere was just not it. I got rude glares and nasty stares from 4/5 of the people there. For some reason, they were not minding their buisnessKid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly, lots of people shuffling around and packed at the bar, noisy drunk men, loud music, (sometimes) and ofc the whole place revolves around cohokic beverages, the people there weren't very considerate.

March '24 just an all around bad experience. It's in a resort area, but they made it clear that they catered to the locals. If you're a local, then you should have a great time, but as a tourist it's a very unwelcoming place. Maybe they get nicer closer to summer?

Awesome beach bar in Cherry Grove...great local crowd...friendly service and atmosphere...indoor seating with tvs and pool table and outdoor seating with another bar and tables outside on the sand...a stone's throw to the ocean..always a spot to visit when in the area...

Had the tater tots. Great. Had the blackened fish bites with hurricane sauce best ever!!! Highly recommend. Sat at bar great service!!

Being a Boilermaker fan, I asked if they had Peacock. They said they did, so you know where I will be Saturday night. I might even get to dance a little.

Last night, two family members and I were treated very rudely by Mike, the outside bartender/co-owner. We had a tab with at least 12 mixed drinks on it. My aunt went to the bar to get 2 ice waters, we both were driving later and were going to switch to water. She sat at the bar 5 minutes before being waited on, but was given the 2 waters. I went back to get them refilled about 20 minutes later. When I asked for the refills, Mike said, "I don't do water", and he walked away..wth? I had to ask the waitress for it when she got close to me. I told her what he'd said, she tried to make excuses for him by saying he was probably joking. I told her definitely not. I went in and asked who the manager was, the inside female waitress told me it was Mike. Told her what happened and how rude he was about it, and she apologized and said she would've gotten it for me. Found out after I left, Mike had told my aunt there was a water fountain if we wanted water. I hadn't seen the fountain, but would've refilled cups there if I'd known. I went to tab out and spoke to Mike to let him know how disappointed I was to have a decent size tab and be told "no", especially so rudely, when asking for water. He made the female waitress check me out. I've NEVER left a bar, restaurant, etc without tipping, but I did last night. Told her it's a shame her boss didn't care anymore about her than to act like an A$$hole, I wasn't leaving a tip because I couldn't guarantee he wouldn't get part of it. We were there to see the Tim Elliott Band, this pissed me off, and messed up a really fun night. Great place to sit outside and see the ocean, but not sure I'll go back.

Came in and stood for awhile before an couple ask us do we want their table. I was greatful that they knew we had been standing for long time and gave us there table. We was there just to listen to live music and not eating or drinking (which we don't drink anyways). May about 15 minutes of sitting the management came over to us and said we must order something or drink alcohol or we had to go stand up again. Well I didn't get upset or anything we just left. Been around a lot of places to listen to the bands but never had this experience. Want be back there and of course this was our first time there. Good luck with this place people.
