Just tried some take-out. Ribs, pork sandwich, onion rings, and hush puppies.Everything was outstanding. The ribs were meaty and smokey without excessive fat. The onion rings were just right, the pork sandwich was lean and packed full. The hush puppies were perfect, just the right sweetness without any greasyness.I will definitely be back.

The ribs were out of this world. I've tried ribs in every state in the U.S. and these were by far my favorite ever. Loved the fries and sides. Our hostess was really friendly. You can't beat the prices.

My wife and I saw this place as we were leaving NMB in 2023 and we said “We’ll eat there next year.” TODAY was the day…We should’ve eaten here last year! AWESOME FOOD!! We both got ribs..she with o-rings and corn, mine was o-rings and bbq beans. We also shared six smoked wings. The fresh hush puppies just rounded all of it off very nicely…lite and tasty! All was Delicious! Their sauces are homemade and all are great!!

I was sorely disappointed with my food, the brisket was overcooked, dry and tough. The ribs and chicken were the same. The waitress noticed I barely touched anything. She asked if I didn't like my food, I told her I didn't, she apologized but didn't offer to discount anything. I cannot recommend this restaurant, and we'll never go back.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat, I took my food to go but there are plenty of tables to sit down at. First the sides were great but the meat? Excellent. I was lucky enough to get the ribs right after they came out and the meat literally fell off the bone. Would definitely stop here again!

I'm not a big fan of Carolina BBQ, so i was concerned that Old South only offered that. I was able to order the meat I wanted, and there were maybe half a dozen different sauces to choose from. Overall, I was pleased with my experience.
The best Hushpuppies around! Tender, delicious Pulled Pork Sandwiches with our choice of 5 different BBQ sauces. Perfectly seasoned French fires and Cole Slaw thats just right.
