Fresh steamed crab legs brought to you as long as you want them. Service and food are always top notch. Ask for Stan, he's a terrific server.

Food choices were ok. Went on a Sunday, food trays didn't seem as full. Family enjoyed it more than I did. I seem to remember better and more choices when I visited over 5 years ago. Staff was very good.

This has been a nice place at one point in time I believe. But not now. The food was horrible. The salad bar was all the adults ate and the kids ate bread. The waitress was great. I should've known when the parking lot wasn't full that something was wrong. The food is cold, the prime rib was horrid, and the seafood look s like it is frozen food. I'm sorry I know this is or was a family business which I try to frequent but the family has dropped the ball.
The; building or decor rather needs updated.
Then came the bill. 40+$ per person. I was floored to the point I didn't even complain. It looked liked the wait staff was all that was there anyway.
And this was the one nice dinner on our last night there. HUGE disappointment!!!

I ordered all you can eat seafood buffet you pay extra for the unlimited crab legs. The crab legs were so overcooked. It wasn’t even worth eating, let alone paying for.. The shrimp was disgusting not only did it not have any taste trying to get to the shrimp turned to mush that’s all overcooked it was. Corn on the cob soggy, The banana pudding disgusting.. I don’t have one good or positive thing to say about Preston‘s restaurant other than the fact that I was 100% dissatisfied.. if you’re looking for somewhere to eat, and you want to do a buffet I believe the name of it is Captain Benjamins and I believe the location is in Myrtle Beach. Prestons is located in North Myrtle Beach again. I highly recommend not eating there. This explains why there was literally 10 cars in the parking lot now I know why…

I have visited Prestons several times prior and based on past visits I feel like it is in slow decline. Food is decent but due to rising food costs I don't feel that it is a good value. Have to eat a lot of food to make the cost justifiable.

Our waiter was excellent! He took time to show my niece a trick to cracking crab legs!! They have an excellent sweet potato casserole!

My family and I visited here on Aug 3rd 2024. Our waiter was very nice, helpful and he explained the prices for the buffet for the children and adults as well. He made us feel welcome and he took very good care of us during our visit. I was very pleased with his service to us. The sweet potato pie and the sweet potato casserole was very good as well as the other food. They have everything you want to eat at a buffet. I believe we will be going back again next year.

To start this off I will say the younger man who was our server was GREAT! He was pleasant and very accommodating. Food was OK. Nothing special. Crab legs did not come out of the shells well. This was the second seafood buffet in our week long vacation and both had similar issues. I will just go back to the bigger places next year. But, thanks to our server for making the experience salvagable.

A little expensive I thought, but I guess when you factor in the unlimited crab legs (which were awesome), it's not so bad. Buffet was a little hit or miss, but overall pretty good. Fun atmosphere and our server was great!

Food was delicous. A good variety..I like how they serve the crab legs to your table instead of them being on the buffet table. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

$40 for adult buffet not including drink is crazy... then $20 for child's buffet is even more ridiculous. The only item on the buffet that I thought was truly delicious was the sweet potato casserole. The ice cream machine was not working either. Sadly I think you would be better off going to Golden Corral, and I hate saying that because I would prefer to spend money at local/family run establishments.

I ordered off the menu and my husband got the buffet because he loves the crab legs. The food did not disappoint. My server Christian was excellent. All the staff were smiling and very friendly. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
