We just left this place. I HAVE 2 PICKY KIDS needless to say we all ate and loved dinner.Quite ,SWEET staff, and GREAT PRICES.My husband ate the Roasted Duck and it was FANTASTIC!!If you get a chance speak to the owner he is a world traveler and his cooking abilities are out of this word.We Most definitely will be back!!

I will have to let the dust settle before I go back to Soba if ever. Ate there today. Not at all excited about any aspect of my experience.New owners talking about old owner out in the open to every table. This is unacceptable and will kill your business. Focus on what you are going to do with your new business.Service was all over the place. Only the the two owners and a new server. All 3 were helping every table, a little overboard. Yes yes I know the deal but as an owner you do not talk negatively or correct the one you are training in front of clientele.Food was fair at best. If you’re going to ask my opinion your going to get an answer. If an Asian restaurant can’t fry rice, I have my doubts about their success.

This place has some awesome food for a good price. Really enjoyed the hibachi chicken! I was a little disheartened at first, because there was no shrimp sauce, but it tasted excellent without it! I was really surprised. :)

We were the ONLY 2 customers in the place for the entire time we were there at lunch. After 40 minutes the staff had only been able to complete our appetizer order, which was wrong, and bring out one order with the wrong rice. They took the order back to the kitchen and it was never seen again. The other order at our table never did come out. There was no apology, no explanation, even when I advised them that I had now used all the time I had and would go back to work without eating... I REALLY want to like this place, but this is my 3rd visit and ALL have had service problems. This was just the worst one (and the last).

Everything was delicious! Same cook from previous ownership... pretty much the same menu! They’re still waiting on liquor license, but food was great! Definitely coming back!

This is a great restaurant with food of high culinary quality. My husband loves the General Tao and I love their Chinese Shrimp Lo Mein. They have sushi, soup, and a full menu of culinary delights. The new owners have done a marvelous job in creating a great spot for lunch or dinner with a loved one! ‍

We were the ONLY 2 people there at lunch. After 40 minutes the staff had only managed to bring the wrong appetizer and one meal with the wrong rice. Both were sent back never to be seen again. The second person’s order never came out at all.

Had the absolute best dining experience at The grand opening of Soba at Myrtle Beach. I highly recommend for the best fresh authentic Asian fusion food with excellent service from the owner and staff. Thank you for your kind words and treatment during the time of our bereavement. and the shrimp lo mean was the best I ever had!

We eat here often, usually for takeout, and always love the food. Tonight we had the chicken coconut soup (some of the best I have ever had) and the general tso’s chicken. The food always has great flavor and Is consistently delicious! The owners are very friendly every time we are in.

Best General Tso Chicken I’ve had in at least 5 years. Crispy, as it should be! Get it!

My second time there and the food and service was as good as the first. Tried the noodles this time, was worth it

Unpretentious small restaurant in a strip mall at North Myrtle Beach. Wide choice of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Singapore dishes on the menu. Service was efficient, indoor dining is back with social distancing, still off season. The chef is excellent and talented. The sauces are authentic and the flavors really come through. I had the Bangkok chicken which is a Thai red curry with peppers, mushrooms, green and red bell peppers, onions, and Thai Basil. The sauce was aromatic and mildly spicy - not overpowering just a warm memory on the tongue after each mouthful. My wife had the chicken Laht Nah which is vegetables cooked just right and wide rice noodles served in a Thai brown sauce, delicious! You can choose different meats to go with the menu choices, and there are lots of seafood dishes on the menu. We plan to eat there again several times while vacationing here to try out some of the other menu items. Well worth a visit while you are here!
