Since 2017 we have made this pizzatopia palace a must when we are in Cherry Grove and for one reason...IT THE BEST! if you are a foodie like we are then you understand it has nothing to do with the price, the setting, or the name, it's all about the quality of food, the taste, and the way you feel afterwards. What makes a great pizza stand alone from the rest is the first layer, the crust. With most pies you constantly have to wipe your hands because of the grease, not BASIL'S. The crust is spot on with taste, texture, and no napkins needed. Look, if you want to waste you money on other pies then go ahead. I know where my hard earned money is going for pizza, BASIL'S no other place. Stop in, ask for Diana and tell her you read this post...and ENJOY! Todd and Molly Pizzaologist

Pizza had lots of toppings but no sauce. Spaghetti had very little sauce. None of the employees wear masks.

The pizza was extremely good. Ordered it with a side of ranch and the family ate it all. Got a to go order. I will say my only complaint was when I entered to pick up my order, I was the only one in the whole place wearing a mask - cashier, waitresses, and cooks all weren’t wearing masks. So just a warning before you order if that bothers you.

We've lived here for a couple years and have gotten to know Joe the owner well. He runs a great little ice cream shop just across from the beach. The food is your typical beach snack bar, and it does the trick. Funnel Cakes are amazing too. Solid place!

We got pizza to go and it was right on time, hot, fresh, tasted great and had nice soft dough. The staff were friendly and helpful. I don't know that it's the best pizza ever, but it was excellent and we would definitely go back if we're in town.

This restaurant deserves zero stars!! Slooooowwww service and overpriced canned food!! Clearly the cheese for the fries came from a can. Everything tastes bad and they mixed up orders or left somethings completely off. During COVID nobody had in a mask or gloves behind the counter. Don't waste your time drive/walk a few extra feet and get something fresh and hot. You won't get either at this restaurant. They need to be shut down. Gordon Ramsey would tear this place up!!
We have wanted pizza for so long. This was our first since the virus nonsense began. This place had very good reviews and it lived up to our expectations. A very simple, casual place, but great New York style pizza. They had memorabilia up all over the walls and we were very pleased to see our small college's banner up (Slippery Rock University from Pennsylvania). We got a medium specialty white pizza and it was really good. My wife also ordered their shrimp scampi salad and enjoyed it very much. The service was very good and the prices were surprisingly inexpensive. We highly recommend it for anyone in this great North Mrytle Beach area.

We shared a Greek salad which had lots of feta cheese on it. The14 inch pizza was pretty good - nothing to rave about. We ordered it with pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers. It had a flavor that was okey. It was missing some kind of spice and I couldn't figure it out. I guess I got my weekly dose of pizza. However, our server was johnny on the spot. She couldn't have been more efficient and attentive. Would I go back to this restaurant? Not sure.

I wish they didn't change/thin out the crust. Something is a little different. I still love this business and will be back. Italian sub was delish

Solid pizza, but nothing spectacular. Kinda greasy, little to no char on the undercarriage, LOTS of flop, medium crunch on the crust, average cheese & sauce flavor. Dave would give it a 6.1
