We had a party of 5 children and 4 adults. We called ahead for reservations and confirmed their gluten free menu as the birthday boy celebrating his 8th birthday has celiacs. This location was recommended in a local restaurant group on social media for their GF options. There were too many blunders to count.. there is no valet even though there is a sign. The lot was full and I had to drive around the block a couple times to find street parking. I didn't have change for the meter so I had to do some online pay thing while my kids were asking how far we had to walk and a million other questions. Walk in and ask hostess stand if they could direct us to our friends who had just arrived a couple minutes prior. We gave their name and description and two employees just said "upstairs" and pointed to a door... okay, so go up there? .. right? Atmosphere upstairs was cool, well decorated and there was music which made it more of a fun spot. There was no kids menu but the waiter did give a couple kids options when we asked. We ordered calamari, bang bang shrimp, edamame, all were very good! We ordered our meals, and we were told kids could only get kids hibachi, we had a couple who wanted lo mien so we had to order full sizes for the 6 year olds. The kids hibachi was not put in as kids as requested or offered to correct on the check. A drink spilled, no napkins for a solid 5 minutes and 2 requests. We had stacked our app plates and they sat there until the last of our entrees came out, they all came out at different times. Oh and we didn't have silverware, we asked three times. Three! We couldn't eat, the kids were whining, we just needed forks. The table next to us received excellent service, that's how we realized we didn't receive salad or soup and weren't asked. I asked the waiter he said "oh oops" and I just asked him to bring a couple of each even though we had 9 entrees. They came out after half of the meals. It didn't matter we didn't have utensils. The kids finally got their waters when the check came out. The 25% built in gratuity for that terrible service is robbery. I did speak with the manager and he was apologetic but we weren't even offered a complimentary dessert which in all honestly I wouldn't have even accepted but it would have maybe appeased me enough so I'm not sitting here pissed off on vacation because we spent $500 for a terrible birthday dinner experience. Save your time. Save your money. Food is good but it's not worth dealing with all the other BS.

Food came quick and was good. Just a heads up - we got our check and it had 20% tip already added to our check.

The bartender Hannah should be fired. She threatened me and my gf life by saying she will put a bullet in our heads because we called the owner telling him she is giving me free drinks. I will be calling corporate and showing them the police report that was made. Someone like that should not be working and should mentally be looked at

The service was "ok" however my "filet skewers" were more along the lines of ALPO DOG FOOD!! I tried to ask for a manager not to replace my meal or even have it removed from my bill I just wanted to let them know it was just "plain" nast! NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN

Really nice meal here while on vacation. All staff was kind. Manager (it seemed) hand delivered food. Honestly I would give a 4/5 due to drinks from the bar being a little lackluster but its a 5/5 for me cause the other restaurants around were not very good on our stay.

I was an attendee at the St. Patricks Day event in North Myrtle Beach and my group stopped in at the Sky Bar for a drink. I was charged $16.00 for a Tangueray & tonic. Seriously? I've lived in Myrtle many years and most bars charge $7.00 to $10.00 for this drink. I questioned the bartender because I thought I heard her wrong. Nope. I've been a patron of all the other locations and have never had to spend so much.

Mediocre food for a slightly higher price. It's in the middle of the city, but if you have some time, go elsewhere. Though, it's a good service and nice atmosphere if you are there for drinks only.

We went there for a family dinner night and called in to make a reservation, which they usually don’t do but they made an excuse - thank you!The service was nice and the food was really good. From the soup to the sushi to the entrees, everything tasted amazing. The portions were big too, everyone got food for tomorrow ?PS:There’s one sticker from the restaurant before on one of the glass doors, that might have been forgotten ?

Great overall experience, good drinks, fast service (even despite us walking in at 10pm) for food, mid range on pricing, approx $120 for two beers, cocktail, and two of their higher quality more expensive meals for two people. Good portion sizes as well. Modern and very clean!

Dont waste your time or money here the bartender “Melanie” was rude and basically rushing us to pay our bill even got the cops on us ! Worst experience I’ve ever had! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE . Would give it 0 stars if I had an

Our server Tre was very knowledgeable and led us in the right direction for our meal. I’m a vegetarian so I was excited to see lots of flavorful options including the ability to get a roll with tempura (you only have to ask!). It was our kids’ first experience with sushi and it was an excellent introduction, they loved everything they tried! Lastly, you can’t beat the location, just a minute away from main street and the NMB boardwalk with Melt only a few yards away for the perfect end to a wonderful evening. Highly recommend!

Was in NMB for a small vacation and we have been disappointed with most restaurants in the surrounding area, we decided to grab a quick couple rolls since we were hungry and man was it one of the best sushi we had ever. If you are in the area I’m telling you go here cause most places are disgusting and it was hard finding a decent restaurant with good food. The fish is so fresh it felt like butter going down my throat. Everything was so fresh and unique I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I’m jumping with joy cause the last days I have been so disappointed with every restaurant, so happy to know there is at least one decent place down here. The only downside is it’s a tad pricey, but it’s worth it for what you get.

I went to the bar to order to go food for 3 of us.The bartender was very dismissive from the start, there were only six people in the restaurant... it was 4:30-5:30 in the afternoon.I asked politely...the girls at home would like a lot of sauces with our food, white sauce, soy sauce etc. ?Her reply ("we have over 30 sauces....do you want me to name them all?")I said no... how about recommended sauces for the three dishes that we ordered? This was after waiting for her for at least 4 minutes while she discussed "something" with a waitress at the cash register before she even acknowledged my being there at the bar.I acknowledge that people who get "to go" orders probably don't tip most of the time... but that is not the case with me and my family.I grew up in the restaurant business and I am still in the service business arena.I said we are about a 20-minute drive from here can you please make sure our order is correct? She huffed and puffed and said she packed it herself and it was correct...Our bill was $92.00ish and I left a $20 dollar bill (cash) for the tip on the to-go dinner.I got all the way to the condo and it was missing an ENTREE...WOW! JUST WOW...As you can see, I leave very fair reviews... 95% of them positive only 5% negative... I only leave the negative ones when I feel like it is deserved. We got the food home and it was terrible...Photos of the 4 pounds of "Mush" that they packed into Styrofoam containers are included. The other 2 entrees were gross "mush" as well.Any first year restaurateur knows this... "STYROFOAM is for leftovers"...You should have good take out plastic for Take-Out Food.Charge for it if necessary, we get it.If you doubt this review I can post more awful pictures of the horrible food.

We had great service, fresh and well prepared meals with generous portions. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. However, it did get rather loud at times.
