MOLD! I ordered 2 muffins for my kids and they were eating them when we got home. They said they tasted bad and had white stuff in them. I looked and it was MOLD, all throughout both of the muffins!

I ordered a smoothie and it tasted terrible and smelled almost fermented like a faint smell of beer. Thought it was weird that a smoothie place would have a gross smoothie until i saw the kids had moldy muffins.

Hoping they dont get sick! Make sure you check your food first or try it before you leave!

We popped in before our Escape Room reservation a couple doors down, started to order, then realized we didn’t have enough time. 😬. I apologized and cancelled, but promised we’d be back after — and the staff couldn’t have been nicer about it.

When we returned later, the same girl remembered the first three items we had started to order earlier — I was impressed (since I didn’t remember, and those 3 hadn’t made it over yet!). Super friendly service and great memory.

The smoothies are definitely made with real fruit, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Between our group we had 2 bobas, 2 smoothies, and a double scoop of ice cream — all excellent. So many choices at this quaint little shop.

Highly recommend for both the quality of the drinks and the awesome customer service.

Sure, you can get good smoothies in several places at the beach, I’m sure, although Southern Smoothies has a WIDE variety of combos and some really yummy food options, too. BUT, if you are like me and like to support businesses who treat their staff like family, THIS PLACE CAN’T BE BEAT! My daughter worked her first summer job there and the owner treated her like his own daughter… patiently taught her everything, understanding of mistakes, respectful and kind. If those things matter to you AND you like a tasty treat that includes everything from smoothies and ice cream to hot breakfast sandwiches and pancake bowls, this is THEEE PLACE!

The girls working were super kind & efficient, but the acai bowls werent good. We got 3 acai bowls & the strawberries were not fresh - they were actually gooey… also the garbage can outside by the picnic table was overflowing & had an odor. We paid $43 and were disappointed

We’ve had the açaí bowls, smoothies, iced lattes, and breakfast sandwiches. Everything has been delicious!! The servers are friendly and it’s in a row of cute boutique shops not a far walk from the beach. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience - wonderful smoothies, and atmosphere great Service located right off the street where you can walk in from anywhere even ocean Boulevard. High-quality product. Not open in the morning. 🇺🇸👏🏽🐺

Great smoothies. Super sweet female staff waited on me 5 minutes before close and was just so nice about it. Would definitely go back!
