First, don't rely on Google maps to find the place. Directions led me to a closed gate condo community. I had to drive around the area zig-zagging all over, and finally stumbled across a restaurant-looking building that was not well marked.

Second, I was here twice. The first time the food was okay but not great. We sat indoors and the atmosphere was fine. The second time we went, wanting to hear the band which was playing outside, and in 95° weather the only seats were in full sun. Because it was later in the afternoon, even tables with umbrellas, the umbrellas shaded the pathway, not the table. So in that heat I decided not to stay. And the area the band was playing overlooked the parking lot on the opposite side of the building from the water. So certainly nothing to look at there.

I gave it four stars because I wanted to post something to warn people but I don't feel I gave the place a full chance to show me how their food is.

On arrival, said we will be seated shortly, the kitchen is trying to catch up. Waited for over an hour and a half for the “kitchen” to catch up. 1/3 of the tables was empty shortly after arrival with guest standing around everywhere hoping to be seated. Last time for me and my crew.

This is a must go to on our yearly beach trips. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We love sitting on the deck.

Good and Bad
Best bar at Myrtle Beach in my opinion when there is no band. Great food - service - and prices.
The live music is absolutely obnoxious. If you want a crappy band make it background noise not a concert. No one is going there to just see a cover band or no name band at full volume which is all you're forced to do if you go when a band happens to be there. It's like you guys are trying to compete with House of Blues which is 10 feet away.

Just had appetizers here and great drinks. Hunny Bunny (yes she said that’s what we call her!) made exemplary drinks and provided exceptional service. The prices were also extremely good. The food was great! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!!

We’ve been to the Marina bar and Grill on several occasions. Today was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Bun was stale tasting. The mahi and the shrimp were way overcooked. Gummy, chewy and hard to eat.
The service was horrible! We were seated first in the outside area. Our drinks and food came out last. We had to ask for a refill on our drinks. Our unsweetened tea was refilled with sweet tea. That’s not too good or smart to give to a diabetic person. Every table was given their bill. We were not given ours. We had to go inside to get our check and then go back inside to pay. No service at all. We were not attended to the whole visit That will be our last trip and we will no longer recommend this restaurant to visitors or locals.

Fun atmosphere, delicious food with a view, and a friendly staff.

Great place to meet locals and have a good time. Friendly bartenders and waitress. Great selection of food. Plus entertainment at night.
