Best flounder EVER ! (and it was the Thursday special) Nice waitress took real good care of us.
The food is always great as well as the service . The only issue for us if you sit in the side room it is very noisy. We sat tonight in the front room and was great ,
Great little gem of a place. Very good food, Great Service and reasonable prices. Very happy we decided to go there for a Birthday Celebration.
We had the lunch $12.99 meals and both were very good and service was exceptional. Good selection of meals for the price.
Our waitress was amazing and patient given the group size! So very appreciative of her! The fried food (flounder, oysters and shrimp) were delicious and hot! The pork belly was good however the Crabella had too much cheese (and I love cheese), the bisque was too watery and lacking flavor and, the shrimp and grits were salty.
Everyone e joyed their meals. The green beans were crunchy/crispy on ends. Disappointed in those but my crab cake was yummy!
Today was our second time at Tidewater. We absolutely loved and raved about it and took a family member there for lunch today. First we were served raw French fries, then we found a long hair in our fish and chips. When we brought this up to one of the staff, he first acted like he didn't see it then just swept it off the table and walked away. 5 mins later he is in the middle of the dining room swearing about us ( with children present). I know restaurants make mistakes, but it's how you respond that makes loyal customers. We will never return after this and will be sharing this horrible experience with others whom we already recommended this place to. Shame on the manager for never coming out to say anything to us, but then again I believe she was the cook so.....
This was a birthday dinner and I wish we would have picked anywhere else. The food was not good. Pork chop was unseasoned so tough. The shrimp were tiny and didn't taste fresh and the pasta was okay but chicken was not good at all. If you don't want to have conversation- this place is great. There was one group of drunk guys who were so loud you couldn't hear anything else, much less the people at our own table. We asked to be moved before our food arrived and the “manager” said they couldn't accommodate us. (Although there were other tables in another section). We will not be back.
This was my first visit and the food was excellent. The grouper bites and the lunch portion of the whitefish were off the charts. Service was exceptional. I will be back.
Food was great and the service was outstanding. Really enjoy this place. Never had a bad meal at Tidewater Grill. Servers are always extremely friendly. I highly recommend Tidewater Grill.

Place looks a little rough outside but is nice inside. Grouper fingers and baked Grouper were fantastic. The asparagus was overcooked and soggy.
Awesome food, super friendly service, convenient location, great atmosphere, easy reservation system. Will definitely visit again when in North Myrtle Beach/Cherry Grove area. Thanks!!!
The food is always excellent at Tidewater! As is the service and atmosphere. We go there every time we come to Myrtle over the last 8 years. We have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!
As always, the food was delicious. We had Matt as our server and he was fantastic! We highly recommend Tidewater Grill!!!
Excellent meal in a small local restaurant. Parking is a problem and we sat in the back porch dining area which was poorly lit and a little cluttered. Amazon boxes stacked in the corner. The food and service were great!
