This place is not Japanese, chicken was cooked in a fryer like Chinese food, and some nasty sauce poured over it… nothing like Hibachi WHATSOEVER. Placed smelled like Fabulouso, floors were sticky, and it was hot as hell inside. I’ll be shocked if I don’t blow a gas station toilet up before I make it home.

The food was incredible — a perfectly cooked fried rice with a generous portion of vegetables. My compliments to the chefs; the meal had an amazing flavor and the service was outstanding. I also took a seafood fried rice dish for my husband. Congratulations, 10/10! Thank you.

Honestly not impressed!!! Rice was crunchy, and my shrimp were well overcooked, and looks to be salad shrimp,tasteless, and honestly the worse hibachi I've eaten, Wow!! Folks spend your money elsewhere, a Lil pricey!!

Ok .. here on vacation and everyone in my group was hungry so they chose this place . I was skeptical because of the name, Tokyo express… So I’m thinking this is just a takeout place… But if they had seating, we were gonna stay there and eat… So stepping foot into this restaurant.. The place is hot. There’s no AC working , to me that’s a big red flag!!!! I really didn’t wanna order anything from there, but the women in my group were hungry and cranky so it was a do or die decision. Of course I said no way we’re eating in this place with the heat so we ended up ordering to go.. Service was pretty quick brought it back to the hotel. We all ate really no complaints on the taste… … Reason I’m giving a three stars is I don’t know if I’m gonna be sick this evening or tomorrow morning so I’m on the fence on this one… But for a restaurant to operate, they need to have an HVAC system that works to avoid Bacteria growth, etc….. The management owner end up reading this review. You need to get that AC Because you’re taking a risk that could come back and bite you!
Just remembered why I ain’t had this place in years! I gave it a 2 being nice. The food was hella bland definitely not fresh it’s too many other hibachi options choose better 😒

I got chicken bowl and Hibachi chicken for my husband. Both of our dishes were bland, and the chicken tasted warmed over. It did not taste like freshly cooked. Had never been before and will not be back.
