Honestly not impressed!!! Rice was crunchy, and my shrimp were well overcooked, and looks to be salad shrimp,tasteless, and honestly the worse hibachi I've eaten, Wow!! Folks spend your money elsewhere, a Lil pricey!!

Ok .. here on vacation and everyone in my group was hungry so they chose this place . I was skeptical because of the name, Tokyo express… So I’m thinking this is just a takeout place… But if they had seating, we were gonna stay there and eat… So stepping foot into this restaurant.. The place is hot. There’s no AC working , to me that’s a big red flag!!!! I really didn’t wanna order anything from there, but the women in my group were hungry and cranky so it was a do or die decision. Of course I said no way we’re eating in this place with the heat so we ended up ordering to go.. Service was pretty quick brought it back to the hotel. We all ate really no complaints on the taste… … Reason I’m giving a three stars is I don’t know if I’m gonna be sick this evening or tomorrow morning so I’m on the fence on this one… But for a restaurant to operate, they need to have an HVAC system that works to avoid Bacteria growth, etc….. The management owner end up reading this review. You need to get that AC Because you’re taking a risk that could come back and bite you!

I got chicken bowl and Hibachi chicken for my husband. Both of our dishes were bland, and the chicken tasted warmed over. It did not taste like freshly cooked. Had never been before and will not be back.

Maybe I should have not have been surprised but I expect my hibatchi chicken to be chicken breast, it is not. I think an upcharge for white meat would be acceptable, but no warning at all about using dark meat. I thought the side noodles were a little over price given they were nothing but noodles stirred with soy sauce, not worth 4.99 Rice, egg roll and onions were good and I enjoyed them. But now I am on my way to chick-fil-a to buy dinner again. I would eat there again, I just won't order chicken.

Had lunch there today, food was gritty as if they used sand to cook. Spoke
with the cook about the quality of the food, didn't understand English. I'm a regular that bring my friends when visiting, won't be returning. You have a bunch of business killers working for you!

We got some sushi and the rice was so gummy and the meat seemed spoiled. We also got some hibachi and the chicken was very unseasoned. Threw the food away. Called the store and they hung up on me and refused a refund.

We got 3 orders of sushi and an order of hibachi and the sushi was inedible as the rice was mushy and the seafood had gone bad. The hibachi was unseasoned and tasteless. Had to throw everything out. When I called to let them know, he said there is no ticket for the order and hung up. Never ordering from them again.

Really disappointed. Hadn’t been in a while and wanted some hibachi and sushi. Used to be really good, it was horrible this time. Absolutely no flavor and outrageous price increases. Ordered hibachi steak and hibachi filet, both looked the exact same and were cooked the same. Rubbery and no flavor at all. Don’t even know if they were seasoned other than salt.
Philly roll tasted like grocery store sushi, the rice was so thick and the middle was not fresh, and it was $11!!!!! I understand inflation affects everyone, but the prices have increased by probably 25% and the quality of the food is absolute garbage. With the additional credit card fee, we spent $100 on four hibachi entrees and three sushi rolls. Never again. So disappointed.
