Just heading home from Augusta and was looking for a place to eat. Came upon this place and was very happy we decided to give it a try.. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Had a waitress named Christina who was only waitress and had atleast 10 tables and we got the absolute best service of any place we’ve ever ate.. She was always smiling and just great with everyone.. Fast service and all home cooking. Highly recommend this place.. Also there was 8 of us and and everyone got something different and all was so good.

A new favorite in downtown Norway! Friendly staff and excellent food! Full of antiques and old signs, you're sure to enjoy yourself and and a get a great meal for a reasonable price. I've had the BLT and the seafood platter, both were so good! See you there!

Absolutely amazing service. The waitress was fabulous and very attentive. I had a cheesesteak and when I received it, it didn't look that appetizing. I was fooled, it was damn good. I would definitely visit this place again next time I drive through towards Columbia. The decor was good to look at too. Delicious sweet tea, I bought a gallon to go.

We got there around closing and were seated just like it was the middle of the day. Food was delicious and waitress was attentive. Can’t say enough good things!

My husband and I were driving through Norway, SC and decided we were hungry and wanted to find a place to stop and eat. We came across this restaurant called Gibson's. There was a big sign in the window that said Sunday buffet from 11-2. Well I looked at my watch and it was 2:11. So I thought just the buffet closed at 2pm. We walked in behind another family and upon entering we could see that the buffet area was getting packed up and food being put away. The family in front of us were asked if they wanted to be seated in the dining room and they were seated. We were next in line and were asked the same thing. So of course we were seated in the dining room also. Everyone was EXTREMELY friendly!!!! I felt like I was sitting in grandma's house. We ordered and noticed that the rest of the tables not being occupied were having their chairs put on top of them. So I thought oh no did the whole restaurant close at 2???!!!! When our waitress delivered our food I asked her if they closed at 2 and she said yes!!! I felt so terrible!!! She told me not to worry she said that they never turn anyone away. I had a big lump in my throat I felt so bad!! We ate as fast as we could and the food was so amazing!! Everything tasted home made. There was an older gentleman there who I think was the owner. But he wasn't working he was there eating with his wife. But all of a sudden he brings over 2 pieces of pie. He placed them on the table and said "just in case you have a sweet tooth". I thanked him for his sweet gesture and also for not turning us away even after they had closed!!! I knew right away that I needed to write a review about our experience because I will always support the local small business owners over the big chain restaurants! With all that said I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gibson's Restaurant in Norway, SC if you are in the area or just passing through!!!!!!!!! Thank you for an amazing lunch!!!!

I always gets my salad when I crave one from Gibson's food station but" this particular time my salad had no dressing packs now was I asked what kind I would like. I had A big piece of cold bacon throwed cross the top of my salad which I thought was unnecessarily . and the two @ the counter was very un friendly especially the CASHIER.. Never going BACK AGAIN.
