There’s two very important things that the public as to know. 1. When you pay cash they boast a 4% discount, then look at your receipt they charge you back 3.5% fee for debit card or charge card usage. I brought this up with the owner and after a few no honey no honey she would not correct what was on the receipt.  2. I used my bank card on a second trip because we’re on vacation and we wanted fresh flounder. I got an alert email that was $14.24. When I got home my bank stated that there was an extra dollar charge that was posted. Since when do you tip a food store especially when it is an unauthorized charge. I’m posting this because I want people to be aware especially when you’re on vacation you’re at a disadvantage to go back to the store and talk to them in person. I called the owner who was extremely rude and claimed I tipped on the receipt. That is an absolute lie. This is a shady unprofessional business and it would be very wise to not do business at this place. I overheard her mother staying this is happening again. It proves they are aware of their practice of taking advantage of people on vacation.

Finally great lump crab meat. Finally got to make a REAL Maryland crab cake. There crab meat was fresh and perfect, the best I've had in years down here. Now for fresh live crabs, steamed MD style.

We feel so lucky to have Lemon Island Seafood across from Belfair. We buy fish and shrimp virtually every week and it is the freshest and best seafood anywhere. Melody, Brandy and Kevin know seafood and always have a huge selection of great seafood iced and ready. Anyone who buys seafood anywhere else is missing out on the best place in the Low Country!!! Edit in response: I disagree with blindly supporting a business merely because of their geographical location. You gotta earn my money. Your response is classy but I don't agree with it.

Very unhappy with the "fresh shrimp." Against my better judgement I bought some--it was floating in cold water with very little ice--horrible, had to throw it out. Bought some grouper--it was ok.

Some of the freshest seafood in town! Amazing customer service and great selection of seafood! Trigger fish sells out fast so get there early! I can’t wait to try all the fish they have available. Got grouper this time around and it did not disappoint!
