When u get a hand written message from the manager (cali) bc there was one thing off last time, it means the world to you!! Ok, won't let me do another review but Callie at applebees is exceptional !! Best of the best!! And now I call her each time I order, she is not frustrated, rude or rushed. Cali deserves a raise after all my requests!! Thanks a million. CALI!

Got there around 3pm Saturday December 27,2025 and it wasn’t busy. We waited 10 mins for a table, 15 mins for a server which also happened to be the bartender. The waitress came took our order, it took 15 mins to get our drinks and 30 mins to get our food. My steak wasn’t done and my potatoes were cold. My boyfriend’s food was cold also! The worst Applebees I’ve ever been to! Just letting people know the Hospitality manager Hugo called me and I told him in detail what happened at this visit and he apologized profusely and gave me a certificate to give them another try! He was a really great manager!

Tried stopping by for a meal with my wife since we haven’t eaten out in a while, there where only about 5 or 6 tables in the entire restaurant, no wait at the door, we were sat immediately we waited patiently at the table watching as our server continues to walk to the same one table and then to the back ignoring the other 4 tables in her section, we waited over an hour and never even got our drink orders in, never once spoke to our server. It is not worth the time at all!!! If it takes over an hour to even get a drink order in, who knows how long it would take to even get your food let alone get your order in for it.

Carside service was amazing I believe my sever was name Tori , she was so helpful and sweet. I orders a ribeye steak and with mash and a side salad , the steak was so juicy and well seasoned you didn’t even need any steak sauce , shout out to the cook !!! I will be ordering again very soon.

Food was bland, which wasn't unexpected. Service was glacially slow in a mostly empty restaurant. Been a long time since I've been to an Applebee's but I haven't actively objected to going until now. If you're looking for food in Orangeburg don't go here. If you're traveling and can't wait for Columbia try San Jose, Thai Orchid, Chick-fil-A or Arby's. Our Ruby Tuesday is dirty and our BK (like our Applebee's) is one of the worst.

I had the blackened salmon with loaded mashed potatoes. The food itself was just okay, but the service was terrible. Our waitress couldn’t remember anything we said and kept coming back asking the same questions repeatedly. I also ordered the Pink Punch, and it tasted exactly like lemonade — I’m not even sure it had any alcohol in it.
The bartender wasn’t any better; she seemed more focused on entertaining the men at the bar than actually making drinks. We didn’t receive our drinks until our food came out, even though we ordered them with our appetizer. The restaurant wasn’t even busy — maybe ten people total — so there was really no excuse.
Overall, it was not a great experience. I definitely expected better.

The service is terrible. We sat for an hour waiting on our drinks and when a person in our party went to ask about them, the bartender told them that they forgot. They never brought my friend his food than proceed to try and charge him for his food. This Applebees needs a change.
Food is always good and even though they may be short staffed they really provide the best service and are always great

We ordered fettuccine with chicken Parmesan, and it looked like it said out and it just got reheated in the microwave. It was very dry And the chicken that was used was too big for chicken Parmesan and it was nasty. Things are good. So then we got chicken boneless wings to go. That was a waste of $64.
