Food was okay, service was interesting because you had a server and a robot that brought your food. The atmosphere is also interesting with it seeming like the inside had been a few different restaurants over the years. There is a lot to choose from on the menu so it’s pretty much for anyone. Why was the lasagna sweet?!

First and last time we dine at this restaurant. Our server was down right unprofessional and failed to provide an initial explanation on why she removed an alcoholic beverage from the table that was nearly full. All over an ID that wouldn't scan bc the back was worn down. Long story short, the guest who did order a drink got it taken away and was still asked to pay for it. When we asked if it could be removed from the bill the server implied she couldn't. We had to talk to the manager who still implied the same. To top it off, if we had not asked about it they would have charged us for a nearly full beverage that was basically poured down the drain. In the end, the manager adjusted the bill only after raising my blood pressure!
By no means was anyone intoxicated.
The situation could have been handled better by the restaurant staff and this is why I left this review.

The food here is excellent. I had the calzone which was perfect. Plus food was delivered by a robot named Zeus. Rosie the robot was floating around also. Inside was nothing special but staff was great. I didn't try the desserts but man I wish I weren't so full after that calzone

Ordered food online. Tried calling back 2 minutes later and they put me on hold for so long that I got to the store and they still didn't realize I was sitting on hold. Had to order my second order and took 45 minutes to give it to me. Was not busy. Was not a complicated order. A simple dinner. Do not order here if you want your food in anytimely manner. This was completely unprofessional

We are no longer locals to Barrell Room, however, we stop by most weekends when we are in town. I will be the first to say that it seemed service quality had diminished for a period of time, but I joined some friends there this past Saturday to watch the Carolina game, and our server was Emily. She was, by far, one of the best waitresses we have had in quite awhile. She was polite, knowledgeable of seasonal beers, was available to answer any menu questions; our waters were never empty, and our orders were brought out promptly. Emily had a great personality, and she engaged in some great conversation with our whole group. It was definitely a breath of fresh air! When her shift was over, some of us had already started to close out, and Jennifer was in our area straightening up the patio and also checked on us. Both of these girls deserve a huge shout out for their fantastic service. I worked in Service Industry for many years, and it is refreshing to see staff really enjoy what they do and make their customers feel welcoming and appreciated. Great job!

This restaurant made a special soft meal for me when I couldn’t eat due to dental work. They help you feel at home when you get there and make you feel missed when you leave. We drive from Manning SC ( about 1 hr). Well worth the trip every time.
The presentation of the meal did not meet expectations. We ordered grilled pork chops, but they were fried and excessively greasy. Additionally, we requested three vegetable sides but only received two. Our waitress appeared to be unfamiliar with the menu, and despite asking to speak with a manager, no one came to address our concerns. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred us from returning.

Wow, what a rathole...food , cant say because I never got it. service is the worst I've ever had, and the atmosphere is bad because of the lack of service. Just not attentive and expect a big tip when they rarely check to see if you need anything. Had the head lady, kinda older try to tell me what I want. She just wouldn't listen. Ordered a sandwich and watched 3 people get their food before me. When I told them we were leaving, she just kept saying it's coming. I paid and left. Will NEVER go back.

Food was not very good... breakfast casserole tasted like crayfish not sure why. Biscuit had 14 different textures all at once. When asked if we wanted a Togo box server just chuckled and walked off. Wifes frittata was not cooked fully. Nephews chicken and waffles looked and tasted like it came out of the freezer section of Walmart and just reheated.
