This coffee shop is a gem. Excellent hot and cold coffee and lemonade. Danishes and muffins were delicious, too. So glad that we made a stop. It was clean, bright, and welcoming. Greg is so friendly and kind. And he makes an awesome cup of coffee!! Do yourself a favor and stop at this wonderful spot in the heart of Orangeburg.

As we were passing through from Charleston to Knoxville we got a craving for some ice cream. Google Maps suggested Broughton Street Cafe and Ice Cream and I am so glad it did. As soon as we stepped through the door frame it felt like we came home and were part of the family. Perfect relaxing atmosphere, family staff (because they are beyond friendly.. they're family), and great ice cream choices. The bakery items were hard to resist but on a hot humid day, the ice cream was perfect. I just wish the shop were located in Knoxville because we would be regulars. This is the go-to spot if you are wound down, and need to wind up with some coffee. Great food, great atmosphere, great people...do yourself a favor and make this your go-to spot!!!

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, we were looking for a place to get an ice cream cone, so we stopped, we loved the place, the vibe was relaxing, we loved the book shelves and the simple art of fruit, we really enjoyed sitting and enjoying our ice cream together.
We will be back 😊

Closed and not open. Questionable neighborhood.

The wife and I were out exploring Orangeburg on a Sunday afternoon, when we got the taste for ice cream. Instead of a fast food cone or frozen thing in a cup, we wanted real Ice Cream. So she googled ice cream, unexpectedly the Broughton St Cafe came up. We thought great but fully expecting it to be closed because here in SC it seems like all the places to get good food are closed on Sunday! Pleasantly surprised they were open. The proprietor, a gentleman from NY was there by himself. He was very pleasant , eager to serve us, and not over priced one bit!!! Not only was he a fantastic server, chef, owner, but the place itself was awesome! Local artwork prominently displayed everywhere, old school cafe feel, pleasant music, and just an overall warm environment! Very happy to have found this place, and we whole heartedly wish him all the luck in the world!!!! Can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast !!!! Everyone should go to the Broughton st Cafe and give this gentleman your business!!!!! We will!!!!

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere. I ordered the cinnamon roll and caramel macchiato. The sweetness of everything is at just the right level! Not too sweet but not unsweet.

Incredibly friendly owner and a great stop for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Sausage, egg, and cheese saved my morning after a flat tire. We’ll be back!

Man that blueberry muffin and caramel latte was everything. The price for the muffin at its size was so reasonable. The young man who took my order was mad cool and the ambience of the bistro was life. I will travel these 2 hours again for more.

Stopped here while driving through, and so glad we did! Very friendly, clean, welcoming place. I totally enjoyed the pastrami and swiss on a crispy, flakey toasted croissant with a lovely tangy mustard, highly recommend! And a double espresso - creamy and bold.
A cute atmosphere has been created with eclectic art pieces, puzzles, and plenty of plants. A diamond in the rough, if you haven't been here, you should check it out!
