The food was great but they have hidden taxes they don't warn you about until the bill comes and you get the big surprise. For four adults and four little kids we paid $300 bucks. Won't take my whole family there ever again. The prices are ridiculous.

One thing to say about Chestnut grill is that although it's typically pretty busy. They have that restaurant running like a well oiled machine there was a 15min wait before seating, however once we were seated the service was so fast. Drinks appetizers and the meal all came out so quickly I was truly impressed. I had a New York strip and it was purely delicious.

I was at a treacher's conference in Orangeburg this week. About 18 of us dined at the Chestnut Grill. I orderd the Teriyaki Chicken Breast with stemmed Broccoli and fried Okra. It was out of this world. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. AWESOME FOOD. Worth the drive.
