Cookout is my favorite so when I see one that’s where I want to eat. This was by far the worst one I’ve ever been to the person taking my order was in such a rush that they messed the entire order up and the food portions were the size of a kids meal. The soft drink carbonation was way off balance and tasted terrible to see a cookout in a small town was exciting but this one was a major letdown.

This a reminder to myself never to stop at this Cook Out ever. The service drive thru was extremely slow. The counter person was nice but a lil weird as he checked out my dog in the back seat. The surrounding area was a lil seedy. I'm surprised with all the i95 signs about this Cook Out since it's WAY off the interstate and not worth the side track to get to. Don't go here again. It's better to buy a burger at Pal's before leaving home and put it in the cooler and eat it 2 hours later - my future self will be thankful for this reminder.
Service is normally good. Food is always good. Atmosphere not so much. Twice I've had to deal with people asking for money in the drive thru. One woman actually blocked the lane and stopped traffic.

Starving on road trip On back roads and pulled thru. Got a huge BBQ sandwich w hot sauce, slaw, and homemade pickles. Was delicious and just what I needed. They serve better & friendlier than most Cookout places !! Fast too !!
