Don't go an hour before closing because you'll pay full price for a lot less food. In our case, no fried chicken, no BBQ baked chicken, no hush puppies. But we paid full price. And no dessert. Pitiful. Next time we'll go to Dukes in Bamberg! Or Shealy's

I called the day before and put in an sizeable order for pickup the next day. When I arrived it was ready, packaged and boxed up for our trip. The BBQ and hash was outstanding. In fact we are going on another road trip in a few weeks and will buy again from this Dukes.
Overcooked and Overpriced food. No flavor either 😕 Not a good example for Carolina bbq.

Not what we were expecting, having eaten at three other local Duke's BBQ restaurants in the past. Thinking that they should be fairly consistent, we stopped here on our way home from a trip. We chose to do the walk-up window service. No drive-thru found here. The menu seemed limited from Southern favorites like Fried Chicken Gizzards and Hushpuppies! My Husband's favorites.

I haven’t had Dukes in years and I decided to grab me something to eat from there. Back in the day the food used to be be so good, I’m not sure who they fired but they need to rehire them ASAP. Because ain’t no way the food is that disgusting now… The chicken was fine. The BBQ sauce is the same recipe, the hush puppies were delicious as always, the green beans tasted like they added a whole tub of sugar in it and nothing else. The macaroni and cheese looked like half cooked vomit… besides the look of it, it was only fairly warm and the had to nerve to be unseasoned too. My theory is that someone rushed it and took it out long before it was done cooking. It just tasted like a mouthful of black pepper… I grabbed that plate from them at 12:15pm… ya’ll just opened no more than over an hour ago aint no way 😂 That plate had the nerve to be $15 too… waste of money and very disappointing

The price is a little high but you get what you pay for and alot more. The food is always amazing. Service always friendly. Don't have to wait too long to get your food. I can't say enough good things about this place.
