Rosalia's Mexican Restaurant

In the process of moving to Orangeburg, we wanted to find a restaurant that could be just ours. Rosalia‘s Mexican restaurant certainly fits that bill. Finley service, large portions and indoor and outdoor seating. Make this a great place to spend time with someone you love.

Wasn’t for me the birria tasted like a bbq sandwich. My co worker hated the chicken tacos guy didn’t eat at all. They only charged him $2 but he tipped the nice lady $15. Cool spot just need improvement.

as others have stated, the place smells absolutely terrible. it was so bad it was making it hard for me to eat. food was mid at best

Great location in Orangeburg and great food and great service..live local or just passing through, you definitely need to check it out.

Pretty good experience at Rosalia’s, staff was very friendly and quick. Food in my opinion was more texmex than Mexican. Beef was a little salty but otherwise tasty.

2.5 stars. The salsa has no spice and large chunks of tomato and the chips look like old taco shells with no freshness or salt. Guacamole was fresh, but pricey. Molcajete was fresh and delicious, amazing actually. Beans and rice had little flavor but not the main dish
The booths were broken so we sat at a table. Music was authentic but from scratchy speakers. Now you know.

The best salsa I've ever eaten!

If you like chips and salsa? This is it. Friendly service, food was good and if you have shellfish allergies?, no worries you are good to go and not to mention that Rosalita is so sweet and she is here holding it down like a true general.

My mum suffered from hemorrhagic stroke and has been recovering well. I think this my 3rd ever ordering from this place. And every time I order the guacamole dip its always something. This looks and taste like its been on the line all day. Its not fresh at all. The last time I had a problem with my order the owner called me and was suppose to send a card in the mail. I never got it. They say 3rd times a charm but I don't think I'll be ordering anymore guacamole from here anymore. I'm vegan so I don't eat meat and this is one of the few things I can eat off the menu. Just wish for once I order guacamole from here and it not be messed up. And my spin dip was cold, not warm or hot at all.

Last Friday Nov22, 2024 a huge rat jumped up on the bar in front of three women who were eating. At first I didn’t understand why they were screaming as I was sitting adjacent from them. Then I saw that huge tail swinging and I immediately jumped up and left. I thank God I didn’t eat there and only had one drink. It further appalled me that the bartenders appeared to be laughing . Needless to say I jumped up and left immediately. I’m from up north and dined in NY many of time(the capital of rats) and I’ve never seen anything like that occur in a restaurant. Idk what’s going on in that place but for a rat to pop out like that while people are dining and there is an ample amount of noise lets me know there has to be more. Never again
