Was very sad stopped in Orangeburg for brunch on way home. Went in no one would wait on us finally the cook said something. The girl came over said what you want? It's waffle house food. Gone ate the days of piled high plates. The portions are enough though, the service is often confused as our food came out piece meal and once again they forgot the pecans in the waffle. And now they on strike? They demanding 25.00 an hour plus tips!? These are entry level no skill jobs not career paths!
Today we ate at Waffle House and had the best experience we’ve ever had in a waffle House. We noticed the people working together not one person gave anybody any attitude. Workers were helping all customers even if it wasn’t their station they were organizing and cleaning up as they went. I was very impressed. Marilyn Shirley, Maliquaetta, Tawana and Charlene were the workers at Waffle House unit 0579 in Orangeburg South Carolina. We checked out at the register at 9:56 AM.
