Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

Just wanted a quick meal to take back to our hotel room, fit the bill. Chicken sandwich was good but could have used more sauce. Cobb salad with grilled chicken was good, however, grilled chicken was cold, thought it would be hot.

This place has really went downhill over the past 6 months. I stopped today, for the first time in awhile and ordered fries. The fries were in a dirty greasy box, they did not look fresh and looked like the grease needed to be changed. They did not have any seasoning and also my box was not even filled. I went inside to ask for fresh fries, waited another 15 min for them to give me the same fries, they only warmed them and added seasoning. I will never waste my time or money with this location again. The inside was dirty, and staff was socializing in the back.

From the very beginning, when I stepped into this godforsaken store, I knew it would be an utterly terrible time. I walked in, and everyone seemed to not give a damn except this one lady. Bless her heart, honestly. I ordered wings and things and literally got the thing and no wings... I spent 14 dollars on 3 chicken strips and barely seasoned fries with no flavor; I legitimately thought I was eating a cooked noodle. I'm honestly so pissed off right now and cannot put into words how I feel. To summarize this entire situation, it was terrible, and I hope this place fails. God bless anyone who's reading this.

I cannot even fully express how frustrated we are with the poor experience we had at this Zaxbys. After waiting over 30 minutes for food, we asked for a refund on our food and they couldn’t even figure out how to refund us! And we could see the whole time that there were a ton of employees not working. No food was coming out of the window the whole time. After multiple requests, the manager finally came out of hiding to tell us that he was busy taking the trash out? For context, we were one of about 10 groups of people requesting a refund today. I wish I could give 0 stars. I hope corporate sees an influx of negative reviews today and reassesses their management at this location.

Waited over 30min… in the end we had about 20 people waiting for food and everyone started demanding refunds and telling new customers to leave. Even getting a refund took forever and the manager was rude about it.

I would highly suggest not coming to the restaurant with the night crew. Guaranteed those young adults employees are going to mess up your order or get it completely wrong. They do not read and give you what they want to give you (online ordering). The shift lead does not care. You’re better off ordering at the restaurant and making sure your order is correct before leaving.

Food was good and I had no issues. When ordering you could hear a team member obnoxiously singing loudly and badly, which made it hard to order. When I got to the window the cashier was chewing gum. It wasn’t just subtle chewing either. My first look at this cashier had 80% of her gum sticking out of her mouth. Gross and a food safety violation.

This place was slammed Saturday at lunch time. The building was hot like there was no ac, we were sitting at the table sweating while waiting for our food. The line was super long and blocked the drink machine and bathrooms. The cashier was not very friendly, was very short with me and my aunt. I guess only one bathroom stall worked in the women’s bathroom and we had a 7 person line at one point. The one ice machine didn’t work so the drink line got very long at one point. The wait for food was about 15 minutes which is better than I expected. The lady handing out food was very nice and helpful and was rushing to get people their food. But the lack of air conditioning and that many people in there made it uncomfortable to eat. We ended up throwing most of the food away and leaving. It’s just hard to enjoy your meal when you are sweating plus we had a baby with us and she was overheating. I know this place is on the way to the beach and we stopped at lunch time on a Saturday so we knew it would be busy but the temperature inside that place is unacceptable. I wasn’t the only one complaining, I had two other people in the line make comments.

After traveling for almost ten hours on our way home from Florida, we thought this would be a fun, new place to try. We are typically Chick-fil-A or Caine’s people from Cleveland, Ohio. The food was delicious. It was hot, seasoned well, and fresh. I was very disappointed at the lack of hospitality. We stood at the counter/register area and were repeatedly ignored by at least four employees. No kind of greeting, no “we'll be right with you”, nothing. When the manager finally conjured up an employee, she still said nothing. Just stepped up to the register and looked at us. She was sweet when I greeted her and helpful from that point on, but we will not consider Zaxby’s for future meals.
