Came here with my husband after a wedding rehearsal back in July. For appetizers we had calamari, stuffed eggplant, and burrata salad. For our entree I had mushroom ragu with meatballs and he had chicken bolognese. To finish the night we took the desert to go which was the limoncello. This place was so good i caught myself thinking about it even months later to come back and leave the review it deserves!

Wow! Majorly Impressed with the food at Cafe Piccolo.. Whether you sit inside or outside there is major atmosphere! We will be back! Hats off to the chef. Server was top notch! FAVORITE ITALIAN ON THE GRAND STRAND
Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating! Thank you! It wasn't on the menu, but don't be afraid to ask.. They changed up a meal to suit our guest. THANKS AGAIN!

We had reservations for outside. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told there wasn’t room, we had to eat inside. . It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. Soup and salads were offered with meal but no soup was available. The food was very spicy. Very disappointed and will not recommend.

Authentic Italian in Pawleys Island at it's finest! Amazing food atmosphere and service! Prices and portions were fantastic! The salad with gorgonzola dressing! Penne alla vodka sauce with meatballs and tried to stuffed banana peppers! So good!
Pan seared scallops risotto and Pappardelle scallop meals were fabulous as usual with 4 plump and juicy scallops each. Veal Saltimboca was large (bring an appetite!) and per my brother, better than any he could make and he's been cooking for over 40 years. Our server Amanda was a sweetheart and very attentive, made sure the brother had LOTS of butter. The tarfuto dessert was delicious and enough to share between the three of us. Highly recommended for date night or other special occasions, you won't be disappointed!

We try to go to Cafe Piccolo whenever we are in Surfside Beach. The outdoor seating area is cozy. The food is delicious whether you get one of the evening specials or something from the menu. Wine list is fairly extensive with generous pours. Desserts are decadent with decaf coffee for a perfect meal. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Our favorite server Chris has worked there for many years. Lots of repeat diners.

Server attention to our table was mediocre; slow to get to us, then in a rush to move on. Staff appeared to be undermanned. Recommended tip on the bill is calculated including the tax. Etiquette says: Tipping is based on the pre-tax amount; the tip is calculated before the tax is added to the bill. As a result, the tip percentage is applied only to the subtotal (food and beverage costs). Food was very good.

Delicious food, a great value. Lovely restaurant romantic atmosphere. Stuffed eggplant appetizer was outstanding as was the main course of scallops. Waiter took a walk for a bit (left the restaurant) smokers break ? Could have been more attentive - A pretty good dining experience overall.
I will return here frequently for dinner
