We went early around 515 and had a reservation .there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and we requested a booth. we were told all of them were taken . I told the host no-one was sitting in them but she said they were all reserved. An hour and a half later only two booths were taken in the area we were sitting. 3  remained empty while we had our dinner. One of the waitresses told me that they are reserved a year in advance. Seriously......

Although I originally requested to sit inside, our guests preferred outside. The hostess was able to accommodate our request. The outside ambiance is delightful. Although the time for food preparation was longer than I would have liked, the waiter was continually attentive. Food was delicious

Dinner on 6/29 at 6:00PM Hostess at the door was very rude, we had reservations and arrived promptly. She looked at us like we were bothering her. I'm a Senior VP at a multi million $ company and have been to much nicer places. I have never been met by any Hostess with that type of attitude. The Waitress was great and made up for the treatment at the door.

We have been to Cafe Piccolo several times and chose to go back for a nice evening out. We made a reservation and I highly recommend doing that, especially during the tourist seasons. Their food is always a level above the typical Italian restaurants. Great seafood and land offerings and really good pasta. Last night I had Lobster (our of the shell!) and Shrimp over a creamy, seafood sauce on linguine. My husband had their Pasta Alfredo. Wine by the glass is moderate pricing and a nice selection, you can order other choices by the bottle. Meals come with a very nice salad or Tomato-Basil soup and a nice quality bread with olive oil, garlic and herb mixture to accompany it. The wait staff has always been knowledgeable and check in without being intrusive. The only thing that I would love to see added would be tablecloths vs setting the dishes on the tables. It has become a favorite of ours and we will go back again soon.

Food and service was great as usual, fair prices a little high , but fair. The decor can use an upgrade , Some new paint , new pictures change the look. But this is a place you keep going back to, a great place!

Delightful meal! Craft Cocktails were on point. Food was delicious. We had Burrata special— it was Divine.Chicken Piccatta, fresh catch. We love to eat outside on their lovely patio. We were seated next to the outdoor fireplace which was pretty but it was in the 90's so hot! We were eaten up by mosquitoes as well. Next time we will know to wear repellent and ask to be near a fan and NOT a fireplace.

One of our favorite spots in Pawleys Island. Food is always consistently good and so is the service. The ambience sitting outside is wonderful. Gina, our server this time, was awesome. Recommend the veal dishes, vodka sauce, and the special I had (Lobster w/shrimp over linguini).
Food and service was outstanding, I have a few food allergies as well as my Mom has a shellfish allergy and they were super accommodating. My husband and I have dined at Cafe Piccolo many times but this was a first for my folks and they enjoyed our experience very much.

Great experience from entry to exit. Outstanding service from the hostess to our waiter Charlie. Recommend the old fashion from bartender Beca. Stuffed peppers appetizer and crab cake/ veal saltambuca with turtle cheesecake to top off a great evening

Went for our anniversary, one of our favorite places , the food and service are always excellent, the outdoor patio reminds me of Italy, beautiful, we always bring our visitors here for a great experience

Quiet dinner in our favorite area of the restaurant, the original dining room. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our server, Spencer. He brought water and took our drink order while we perused the menu and the specials board. Returning with our drinks he highlighted the specials, asked if we had any questions or immediate needs and left returning promptly with a basket of bread, dipping oil and took our order. My husband ordered the blackboard special, rib steak and scallops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I ordered the mussels in a white wine sauce over linguine off the menu . Both entrees were perfectly prepared and delicious leaving clean plates. Spencer kept his eye on us but only approached when it appeared we were in need of something. He was professional, friendly and did not rush our meal. We both ordered dessert and my “do you have decaf coffee” was met with, “if we do not, we'll make it”. Coffee and lemoncello cake for me and espresso cheesecake for my husband arrived in short order. Both very, very good. Spencer brought our check and we were quite surprised how reasonable it was for such a wonderful dinner. Not surprising as we have never had a bad experience at Cafe Piccolo and we have been coming since they first opened!
