Loved the wine and the owner, Maria! First time here and we had a great time. Armenian culture and delicious wine. Great shop and sad it’ll be closing this week.
The sweetest woman I’ve ever met runs this place! Fantastic service, delicious wine, and a beautiful atmosphere. The stained glass lights and wall vines and every other decorum put it over the top! I recommend coastal wine boutique completely!
Maria was lovely!! I always make sure to stop here, my favorite place. Their wine is to die for and she always makes it a welcoming place.
Extremely rude. Five of us went in for a tasting only one person in the group did not wish to participate. She asked about wine and then told the one member who did not wish to participate to leave as she was taking up space. When it was noted that the person was with us she took up all of the napkins and said no wine tasting then. It should be noted we were the only people in the place when we walked in and she was completely and utterly rude. We frequent the area and will never go back or recommend it to anyone.
This place is terrible. My daughter and I were walking around the shops looking for a clothing store. Maria was outside the wine “boutique” and tried to persuade us to come in for a wine tasting. We said we wanted to first go into the clothing store next door. When we walked out of the store, Maria was waiting for us. I was hesitant, but for $15 a tasting (5 wines), I thought it was worth a try. Maria also said she would give us extra tastings since she invited us in (we still only got 5 wines). I thought she was a bit odd. We requested white wines. Neither of us liked any of them that much and she told us we must be used to drinking cheap wine. Actually, the wine she was giving us tasted like cheap wine. Usually, at the wine tastings I have been at, there is a container for people to dump the remainder of wine they don’t like or finish. When I didn’t finish my first tasting, she poured the remaining contents of my glass into my daughter’s glass and told her to finish it. She also put stale cheez it crackers in an old looking box. I’m used to having bread sticks or crackers in between each wine selection to cleanse the palate. I told her I’m from California and have visited the wine country several times. Luckily, she did not pressure us to buy bottles of wine. We paid for the tasting and left. Maria wasn’t as pushy as I have read in other reviews. I don’t know, she gave me “gypsy” vibes. I would not recommend anyone give this place any business.
Going out of business
Love this place. Maria is wonderful!! Sad to hear they are closing so get here ASAP!!
The owner called us into the store insisting that she offer us a wine tasting. We weren’t planning on entering but we thought, why not? After we entered the store she became demanding and aggressive. She immediately went behind the bar and poured two smoothies (which we did not order), one for me and my wife. We looked at each other, exchanging “the look” as we wondered what exactly was happening. She then shoved a tablet at me saying we owed $30 for the two smoothies. We had already tasted the drinks so I knew arguing would be pointless. We left immediately and will never return. The experience was a regrettable few minutes in an otherwise pleasant afternoon. Avoid this establishment.
Most amazing experience, taught me lots about life and love! So thankful for every second spent here!
My mom and I popped in for the wine tasting and had a great time! The wine tasting was amazing, the wine was delicious, and Maria was super knowledgeable and delightful. I highly recommend stopping by, either for a tasting or just for a glass of wine. The service and vibes were amazing. I will definitely be back!

Maria was a wonderful host for the wine tasting we went to. She is very knowledgeable and kind. We tasted beautiful wines from across the world. We even left so to a few beautiful bottles of Green wine from Portugal. Thank you

Maria welcomed my mom and I into the store and was very nice and told us about the wines as she served us. She was quite a character and told us we shouldn’t be drinking cheap wine. However, when it came to purchasing, she wrapped the bottles up quickly before we really had a chance to take a look at the labels. She told us that she was being extra generous and discounting the wine. After we got home, we researched the labels and the bottles we were charged $35 and $38 (discounted from $45 she claimed) were worth $11 and $12. I feel completely swindled. Buy at your own risk and do your research!

You get wooed by Maria who is business complimentary. Daughter and I and then son came in and we had a great experience of tasting different wines. I have learned my lesson for not asking the tasting prices. We were charged over 30$ ( never got a receipt either). Bought wines and have buyers remorse as I’m sure we tripled over paid for wines. Cough it up to naive adult to proud to stand up and leave. Sigh, I like Maria but the intimidation I felt was wrong. 😑
