Where they invented palmetto cheese!!!! Great place for all of the dips and mayo best salad. And really good take away items to easily cook at home.

I have loved this place for years, however, when I contacted Get Carried Away to provide catering side dishes for a party of 24 that I was hosting, I was profoundly disappointed. I called five days in advance, explained what I needed and asked for assistance in determining amount. My event began at 6:00 PM Sat. so I asked to pick up at 5:00 PM so hopefully the macaroni and cheese and green beans would only need to be on a warmer. The three trays of Mac & Cheese were completely frozen and had instructions to thaw and then bake for an hour. This made it completely useless for me. None the less, I baked in the oven for 50 minutes and still couldn't even stir because it was still frozen. I called and asked to speak to a manager to give them a chance to make it right. I was only told "I'm sorry." $54.00 a tray x 3 = $162.00 in the trash. Will never use again. So sorry.

Last night I hosted a 70th bday for my mom & had Get Carried Away cater. The food & service were fantastic. They delivered to Garden City beach for a pool side fiesta & everyone raved about the food. I will definitely be using them again. Shout out to Aleene & her crew, thank you!!!

Overall nice addition to neighborhood. Lots of choices and reasonable prices for the area. Entrees were really heavy on the black pepper though and even the cauliflower was too spicy for me. This happens to me at restaurants too - just wish chefs would label something as Black Pepper or Spicy so I know.

To say I was beyond thrilled to visit was an understatement. I drove two hours to check it out. I LOVE palmetto cheese, I go through a bunch and currently have 5 tubs of various flavors in my fridge! Huge fan. This store lived up to the hype and it was a paradise of all the foods, that the company serves. Plus they have merch and crackers, dishes, sandwiches, etc to try with all the delicious spread! Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update to my previous review: We booked Get Carried Away for our third event and were BLOWN AWAY (again : ) ). By far the best catering company I've worked with. I wish Get Carried Away had locations all over the Carolinas! Can't wait to book them again for our next party on the South Carolina coastI've worked with my fair share of catering companies before, and Get Carried Away blew me away. Aleene and Katie were professional, helpful, and anticipated every need we had. The food was DELICIOUS and presented beautifully. They were early for the event, set up a wonderful display, and treated my guests like kings and queens. I plan on booking Get Carried Away for every event I host in the area. Thanks Aleene and Katie for making our office party so special, you really went above and beyond!

I absolutely love this place.. the selection of foods whether breakfast lunch or dinner is wonderful already prepared meals just heat and eat.. desserts are all so yummy and so are the dips.. we got jalapeño popper dip buffalo chicken dip both yummy.. bacon pimento cheese which is locally made here is so good regular as well and jalapeño this is a must if you are in the area
