Indo Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar

We went here for dinner with a small group on the recommendation of a group member who is a local. She referred to it as a “hidden gem” and I must agree.
The atmosphere was great, the sole server (it was slow Tuesday) was outstanding, and the food was top notch. Everything came out quickly, was fresh, cooked properly, and tasted amazing. We ordered apps, main dishes and sushi, all of which we shared. Everything was as good, if not better than, the same dish that I’ve had around the country and around the world.
I highly recommend Indo if you’re looking for a great Asian food experience in the MB area.

This place has superb food, lousy service. . The seafood ceviche is absolutely outstanding and an excellent value. It has somewhere around 7 or 8 different seafood types including octopus, salmon, tuna, whitefish, scallops, shrimp, and more. The sauce is tangy, crisp, but light. Perfect summertime dish and the price (~$15 as of summer '25) makes it a steal, considering the price of sashimi. You get big chunks of premium fish in there and it serves about 4. The sushi (both sashimi and the rolls) are quality, fresh and tasty. I consider it a hidden gem restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, there is a sushi bar counter, a full bar and table seating. Lights are dim, music is at a soft, tolerable and non-disturbing volume. The only real drawback is the service. I have only ordered to go, on three occasions, so I can't speak to table service but the times I've ordered the food has taken a long time. One time I called to place a phone order and the line kept ringing with no answer, twice in a row. I let it ring a dozen or more times each call, no answer. So I just decided to stop in and place my order. When someone finally asked me what I wanted to order, after several minutes standing at the bar, I ordered three items and was told that the combo i ordered did not exist (it did). I ordered the three roll combo (I had ordered it previously) and I selected my three rolls per the menu listed options, but the sushi chef told me that the rolls I ordered were not options for that combo. I said they were on the menu. After ordering I stood there for about 8 to 10 minutes, and nobody started making the order and nobody gave me a bill or collected payment. Just awkward standing there. This was about 3pm, there were only 5 or 6 customers in the place. I finally left and placed the exact same order for delivery from grub hub. I get that to go orders don't always gel with the flow of things and sushi places focus on quality and presentation more than expediency, but I felt uncomfortable there and like I was being intentionally thrown shade. If you can avoid talking to anybody who works there, the food is excellent at a fair price.

Stopped in after golf with husband and friend. Our waitress was very polite and friendly. She provided us with quick efficient service. My husband had the fried chicken dinner which was crispy with light breading, the chicken was most and juicy. I had the Pad Thai and friend had the Hibachi
Both dinners were prepared perfectly and very flavorful.
We are so glad we stopped and will visit again when in the area
In the meantime we plan on visiting sister store off Dick Pond. INDO Asian

My mom and I enjoyed your restaurant so much. The food is amazing and your staff is amazing. Thank you for a great night,and you guys are fabulous and did a great job tonight.

After googling for sushi we decided to try this place. It did not disappoint. The service was top notch, but the food was outstanding! We had seaweed salad and salads with ginger dressing. The dressings on both were fantastic. We had 6 sushi rolls. The fav was definitely the Godfather. All were delish. My husband got the Beef Randang. The beef was so tender and the sauce was phenomenal. The best dish though was the cerviche. The seafood was fresh and the favors were outstanding. Please try this place whether you are a local or just visiting. Everything was so good.

They have an impressive weekday happy hour menu! The sushi is fresh and tasty and the baked spicy mussels were great! Definitely worth a visit and the service is fast and fantastic.

I’m surprised that this restaurant establishment doesn’t have a better rating. The food is excellent. I’ve been here twice and have not been disappointed. This is great place to consider if your are in the mood for Japanese/thai infusion cuisine,
