It is now called The Deck with new ownership. The Guys were playing Friday night & they are a really good band. The food was good & staff was very good so I do recommend & will go back.

Overall this place is okay and worth a visit as long as you temper you expectations. I ordered six mini burgers (cooked medium) and tator tots and ended up getting well done burgers and french fries. Not the end of the world but not exactly what I was looking for. I asked for a ginger ale and it had black fur floaties in it. My wife ordered and cheese steak and said it tasted strange and not very good. The service was great and the atmosphere is nice but the food is lacking.

I don't post about restaurants normally unless I have something great to say. However, this encounter is beyond unacceptable. First, let me say that we have eaten at Pawley Island Bar and Grill several times in the past 2 years. We like the grouper sandwich. Today, we went for that sandwich in particular. It wasn't busy and one of the cooks had lots of time to chat with his friends at the bar.We sat outside and there was only one other table with customers. We ordered drinks before we sat outside. After bringing us our drinks, our server completely forgot about us. Unfortunately, when we finally went inside, she admitted forgetting all about us. She only had 4 tables of customers in the entire restaurant. I told her our order and after several minutes, a completely wrong order was presented to us. A greasy fried chicken sandwich and fries (we ordered the chips and I clarified twice) The bun was greasy and burned and the lettuce was old looking. What a disaster. When I asked her about why we got chicken when we asked for flounder, she called for the chef to come out and said, "I just work here!" Wow! Also, they had no tarter sauce made. What?!? Then, the chef's drunk friends at the bar informed how rude we were and we needed to "get the F--out!" It was an experience that I would not wish upon anyone. All I can say is that they have serious problems there. We left and went to Rustic Table where they treat customers well and the food is always good. The End!Kid-friendliness: Not kid from people friendly!

Bang bang shrimp wrap was great, atmosphere would be very fun but we went durning a slow time. The absolute best part was was our server Cierston , she was fantastic friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great food. One of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've ever had (be sure to ask for it, it's not on the menu). Tables were a bit close to the bar that was busy with people having a good time. Good to see people enjoying themselves, but sometimes it's nice to be away from the fray. Outside seating is also available, and it looked enjoyable, weather permitting, and you like sitting in front of the band.
Stopped in for a beer and a bite, was recommended by a good friend. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly Bartender, I did get to teach her how to make a Old Fashion! I'm sure that during the season this place rocks!

Bartender was very nice and was obviously overwhelmed. She ran the whole front of the restaurant. Wings were great. Tots and mini cheeseburgers were over cooked. Grouper was undercooked and not edible for me.
