It was alright. Eggs weren't salted. They probably have and older crowd. So I guess that's fair. Crab cakes were deep fried, not pan fried. It was like a very average, Ok southern breakfast. Nothing special. Nothing to bad. Nothing fantastic, but I wouldn't go back. This is the kinda place stick to the basics. Bacon and scrambled eggs waffles or pancakes dont get anything to interesting or out of a realm of regular breakfast food. That stuff is probably pretty good but ya average over all maybe sub par.

Service was slow. Food was wrong and had to be returned. Will not be coming back.

We have driven by the Litchfield Restaurant for years ,and today we decided to stop ,and give it a try . We ordered chicken salad sandwiches and a side of macaroni salad.
It wasn’t anything to write home about . Our fault for not asking if it was homemade. Always ask if the food you’re ordering is made from scratch or store bought . Their prices were steep as a chicken salad sandwich was $ 11.00 and came with no sides ! We ordered macaroni salad to go along with the sandwiches, however we didn’t realize that it was a up charge for the side and our waitress failed to mention that to us . So buyer be ware . The bread was very tasty !
If you should find yourself near the Litchfield Restaurant I would recommend that you try a hot item cooked fresh for you , and you probably will fair way better than we did . We were asked if we thought they were the best place we had ever eaten at when paying, and we said absolutely no .
They didn’t ask why . FYI

Was passing through-attracted by the cars in the parking lot. Small dining area but superb country food. Service was friendly, smiling and helpful. Food was clean, cooked to order (with love), tasty, lightly seasoned- just a winner. The crowd is rustic - I got lots of stares but then I think I'm fabulous looking but it was probably my Veteran shirt or my pretty caramel complexion. The prices were great and the Decaf coffee was Delicious and I'm not a coffee drinker. Go, run, crawl - just get there on the way to Myrtle Beach. I had eggs, corned beef hash, hashbrowns and dry toast.

Very few restaurants in town especially for a tourist location

Great breakfast place with creative spins on traditional breakfast.

My wife and I visit nearly every week, the staff knows us pretty well and are kind but not like pull up a seat and chat with you a bit too much kind haha.
Food is great, Fries are amazing and typically the tomatoes are fresh and delicious (You can sub in tomato for other sides if you don't want carbs and more carbs).

Depending on the direction you are going, you can easily miss one of the best places for breakfast in the area. The place is on the smaller side and quite possibly may have a waiting list (electronically check in) if you see people standing around outside or sitting on the red benches. The wait is well worth it!

I get ham, mushroom, and provolone cheese omelette with butter white toast, hash browns, and a side of crispy bacon. You can’t beat that with a stick!!!

Parking: Handicap parking is right in front of the building, though the closest door may be locked.

Kid-friendliness: Booster seats available

Wheelchair accessibility: It can be tight navigating the tables but the staff is always accommodating.

Specials are very good for the price. I’ll never turn down a good meat and three plate. I’ve only had the fried flounder(Friday) but my granddad swears by the meat loaf.
