While visiting Pawley's Island, we always visit Litchfield Restaurant. The service is good; people are friendly; casual atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: Family oriented. Restaurant. No need to worry about children being too noisy.

Depending on the direction you are going, you can easily miss one of the best places for breakfast in the area. The place is on the smaller side and quite possibly may have a waiting list (electronically check in) if you see people standing around outside or sitting on the red benches. The wait is well worth it!

I get ham, mushroom, and provolone cheese omelette with butter white toast, hash browns, and a side of crispy bacon. You can’t beat that with a stick!!!

Parking: Handicap parking is right in front of the building, though the closest door may be locked.

Kid-friendliness: Booster seats available

Wheelchair accessibility: It can be tight navigating the tables but the staff is always accommodating.

Specials are very good for the price. I’ll never turn down a good meat and three plate. I’ve only had the fried flounder(Friday) but my granddad swears by the meat loaf.

If I could give negative stars I would. I waited 3 days to write this because I was angry when it happened
After we had ordered several other larger tables came in. They took their orders and all of them had their food relatively quickly. We waited for 50 minutes and still nothing..so we left
Needless to say we will not be returning.

We have loved coming here for years. But the last time I went they gave me warm mayo and I was sick for days. Also my son got a carryout and they didn't give him silverware or make his drink right.

Went for breakfast. Food came out promptly and fresh. Service was very informative and helpful. Lots of good choices to choose from. Family friendly kids will love the kids menu. I will definitely return and will most definitely recommend. I would suggest if you have never eaten at the Litchfield Restaurant then your definitely missing out on some good eatin. Y'all get on down there and see what the fuss is all about. You will not be disappointed.

Great place with a surprisingly extensive menu. Litchfield has been a Pawley's mainstay for some time now, but despite maintaining the same laid back welcoming demeanor they've advanced with the times - if for some reason you come during a busy hour and have to wait, they have a streamlined virtual waitlist that will send a text straight to your cell phone when ready. They accept apple pay as well!

Now, this is a bit of an aside, but after the changing of Ownership with Prosser's, Litchfield Restaurant has, in my opinion, the BEST Sweet Tea in the Georgetown area, rivaled only by the PIT, which offers similar quality sweet tea but with a bit more focus on the "tea" than the "sweet" bit. Arguably worth coming here for that alone, but never fret - this place will run you twenty bucks a person at MOST if you choose it as your breakfast, brunch, or lunch option.

Omg. It is so wonderful to have this restaurant. I feel like the food will only get better with time. I can’t wait to continue to come here for years to come.
