We are locals and we have eaten here many times in the past few years.
Moe's has gone downhill significantly. I'm not sure they care since they were doing a very brisk takeout business with the tourists this Saturday night.
The good: The seasonal Sam Adams on tap was very good. The atmosphere is casual & very relaxing. The service by the young lady at the cash register was excellent!
The bad: The part of the kitchen I could see from the cash register was filthy. Food, trash & a dirty towel on the floor, and that was only the part I could see!
The barbecue in the sandwich was cold. The sides were mostly tasteless.
We are not planning to return.

I love this place but today at 8:45 I was turned away at the door saying they were “about” to close at 9:00pm. Not sure why they don’t just close at 8:45 then. Pretty sure they had some kind of food left to serve.
This was one of my fav spots over the years and now I’ll refuse to go back.
So make sure if you’re gonna go by this place to call to make sure about what time they stop serving food otherwise you’d have to guess.
It’s not a sit down dinner only spot. Was able to get to go but wasn’t even given option.
As I walked in they handed a group of 6 there food of which they were just eating and staying for dine in. Another reason I clear why they would not serve me.
I waited and watched at 8:50 another man tried to go in who was with another group they let him in.

We visited Moes on vacation last week! It was so good!!! Loved the bbq sandwich and the potato salad was amazing! The best!

Let me start off with a Bbq place that doesn’t serve brisket is blasphemous… then they don’t have onions what bbq place doesn’t serve onions????everything there was tasteless pulled pork dry… black eyed peas were bland only one type of bbq sauce that is bitter I asked for sweet bbq sauce and they looked at me like a deer in head lights then said we have this mayo based bbq sauce… seriously where are we at fairytale land, mayo bbq sauce I had to see this, tried but was so horrible I wanted to cleanse my tongue with anything other than that

Food especially the bbq is good. FIX THE AIR CONDITIONER, it’s been lack luster for 2 years now. Ran out of sweet tea and did not have and more made 👎🏻
